In Costa Rica last year, we were looking all week for a toucan. Our tour director, Rhyan, finally found one and quickly set up his telescope. We took this picture with our iPhone through the lens. How cool is that? Hope to see some more in Belize next year!
What is now one of Switzerland’s main tourist attractions was built in 1333 as part of Lucerne’s fortifications. Chapel Bridge’s purpose was to link the old town, resting on the north bank of the Reuss River, to the new town on the south bank. Even though it was initially 200 meters long it is now only 170 meters in length, due to numerous shortenings and river bank replenishments. It is the oldest surviving truss bridge in the world and consists of strutted and triangulated trusses of moderate span.
Mountain love 💕After a night of tossing and turning, overthinking, and stressing, an escape to the mountains was needed! Everyone has their happy place, whether that be beaches, forrests, or cities. Mine is definitely in high mountains! Being surrounded by beautiful rock giants is so humbling and it fills me with so much gratitude for the life I have. Going into the rest of this week with a clear head and positive mindset 💪What’s your happy place? 🌻
For someone who’s terrified of heights, I’m sure finding myself in a lot of high places lately. This is Europe’s highest suspension bridge and it is located on top of Mount Titlis. Although the weather doesn’t allow for the clearest of views, it was still an incredible experience. @engelberg.titlis
