Morning HIIT with the hubs! Hill sprint up, then 40 reps of rope slams each round a different variation: squat slam, lunge slam, regular slam, seated slam. Jog back down the hill to core, 40!reps each round a different variation: plank up downs, bicycles, tabletop crunch, and plank knee throughs. 30 minute cap. Neighbors definitely thought we were crazy but we had fun, and he always gets a good 🍑slap as we passed on the hill😜 #sweatlife#coupleswhoworkout

My philosophy when it comes to fitness is pretty basic. ☆
It should be about sweating in a way that you enjoy. Not in a way that you think will make you skinny. ☆
It should be about chasing run PRs and pull-up goals . Not about chasing peach buns and thigh gaps. ☆
It should be about getting stronger so that we don't miss out on life. Not about looking lean in a swimsuit. ☆
It should be a mental and emotional boost and stabilizer. Not an all-consuming obsession riddled with guilt. ☆
It should be a part of our life that enhances the rest of it. Not our ENTIRE lives. ☆
Who's with me?! #morethansweat ☆
Jazzercise has been around for nearly 5️⃣0️⃣, count 'em, 50 years, and somehow we've managed to be a program that really works. Why is that you ask? Our fabulous CoMo Jazzercise customer, Raina, has a few thoughts.
"After graduating high school, I struggled finding ways to consistently exercise in college. Nothing ever stuck! When I found Jazzercise last year during Girl Force, I knew exercising would be different for me, and it has been! I've been way more consistent with exercising in the past year that I've ever been. It is such a brain break, and I always feel wonderful afterwards. It's the time and space I use for self-care, which I so need in grad school. I have also loved dancing and learning about life alongside wonderful women. Jazzercise is always a filling and inspirational time, and I am so thankful for it!"
jump through & jump back 에서는 내가 얼마나 무거운지 다시금 실감.
이렇게 나는 또 많은것을 배웁니다 🙏🏻🧘🏻♀️.
좋은 수업 감사합니다 민광선생님💕🙆🏻 @life_is_practice
Monday night smolov squats 💪 2x4 at 126/277#. These felt pretty slow but didn’t look or feel the worst. *
Last night I was struggling to mentally get into it. I was tired and after another appointment for my wrist I was frustrated. I’m so ready to get back to weightlifting and do anything besides squat and pull, but I just can’t. *
Just have to keep working on what I can and trying to be patient (the hard part) while this wrist continues to heal and I can start progressing back into weightlifting. 🏋🏻♀️
Well it definitely wasn’t yoga 🧘🏻♀️ or wine 🍷 today but I AM feeling fine!!
Swapped around my workouts this week since I won’t have weights with me on our trip. Love that I can pack up my sliders and bands on the go! Travel is no excuse around here!
Got in Leg Day today - Oh. My. Word. My forearms are on fire - so tough with those heavier weights. I will definitely be feeling this in my whole lower body walking around the airport tomorrow 😂
Lacking accountability? Inspiration? Time? Don’t hold yourself back anymore. Change IS within your reach but only if you are willing to take the first step. 💕 🙋🏻♀️
When you read @burnbootcampwexford @burnbootcamp weekly protocol and go anyway ... even thought they are your nemesis, well that and pull-ups.
But you forget half way through and then get asked if you remember and truly intend to leave... but @mattwhite_15 puts burpees to music ... can’t say I like them but they were tolerable! Now does anyone have a slurpee ?

Lady @laurenljp making trap bar deadlifts look so elegant last week Wednesday @locker27uk .
We often use the trap bar in our Ladies That Lift sessions, it’s such an awesome full body movement that uses your legs, arms and core
It may take a bit of practice at first but once you’ve got it you can lift heavier than you ever thought! #ladiesthatlift#strong#liftheavy#locker27#girlpower
Three years ago, I felt sick. I felt sad. I felt tired. I felt lost. I learned first hand how lupus felt. Lupus, took over my entire life at one point, and at that time I felt like giving up!
After my diagnosis, I wanted to give up on everything and everyone: my family, my friends, my job and most importantly myself.
I was not happy with life. Life became overwhelming to me. Work, family, stress, my well being, you name it, I felt like I was going crazy.
I wanted to run away. I wanted to close the door, turn out the lights, and shun the world outside. I did exactly that! I pushed people away. And then I cried, and cried, and then cried some more. This went on for what seemed like forever. Self pity can consume a person.
But then, I found my “second wind” to be human again.
After feeling devastated, humiliated, hurt, and rejected — and after wanting to give up on the world — I found it!
If I could make it just a little longer.
Going through such a crazy shift in my life , presented a real and meaningful list of challenges to me. Alot of lessons learned.
Today, I have learned to overcome my demons. I have learned to face them head on. I have learned that this is not a curse, it is my life, to make the best possible life I can. God has given me this gift to inspire others.
I promise to do just that! It's a great day to be alive, and the sun still shines when I close my eyes. Make every day count, even the bad ones.
Many of patients complain of tightness/lack of mobility in the hips. Lack of hip internal rotation might manifest itself as a sharp pinching pain in the crease of your hip, or could be causing your feet to flare out when you squat. It could also be the reason for your low back or knee pain. These are my top 4 mobility drills to help increase your internal rotation. The circuit should take you less than 5-7 minutes. 👟
1) Tactical Frog: This still loosens your hips for squatting/oly lifts and running. Keep your ankles slightly wider than knees and rock your hips back towards the floor for 60 seconds while maintaining a neutral spine. Progress towards doing this drill on your elbows.
2) Active Hip Internal rotations: Sit with knees apart and ankles dorsiflexed. Pump your leg towards the ground for 20 reps each to increase internal rotation.
3) 90/90 with lift off: Place your front and back leg at 90 degree angles. Keeping as upright as possible, try to rotate towards your back leg, pushing your butt towards the floor. Repeat for 30-60 seconds, then switch directions.
4) Adductor Wall Stretch:
This stretch hits both the hamstrings and the groin muscles. It also works indirectly to loosen your hip flexors. Lie on your back and straighten your legs against the wall. Slowly separate your feet until you feel a comfortable stretch. Hold 60-90 seconds.
Training with swans ☺️🤸🏽♀️
This is the last travel workout in Switzerland and gives you cardio + strength with just four exercises and a bench. Pick your view in the sunshine and get started, just 40 seconds per move and as many reps as you can:
3️⃣Inverted Leg Lifts, alternate legs
Repeat for x4 sets (make sure to switch legs for last x2 sets)
More travel workouts to come this weekend from the Italian Retreat! ☀️💪🏽
