Last night we talked about an article we posted on our Facebook page about working out and how doing the same workout over and over makes you plateau and eventually stop losing weight. Our trainers change things up to keep your workouts diverse so you never plateau, you keep building muscle and, if it’s your goal, you lose weight. We are so proud of how hard you work each day, no matter what workout we throw at you! #itwasntlegday
134 lbs. That’s what the scale told me this morning.
What it didn’t tell me?
Really that scale tells me nothing more than how much pull my body has towards the earth at any given time.
It’s a number.
It does not define me. And you know how I know it doesn’t define me? Because the old me never would have shared my weight (read: what I thought of as my worth) to thousands of people let alone my own fiancé. Today I know better. I know differently. I am completely independent of that silly number.

I bought this shirt cause I have to tell myself this pretty much every day😜 Anyhow, today was cardio which is why I look like I just survived a trip over Niagara falls😂 cardio always has a way of making you feel like a giant pig especially when your armpits start making weird, sweating, smacking noises (or is that just me?🤷🏼♀️😳) Also, I didn’t notice till I was getting ready to post this, that there is a bead of sweat about to drop off the end of my nose💦😂

When most people arrive home from #Vegas completely exhausted & drained I am home feeling completely revived in body mind & spirit. There is truly nothing like the wild, uplifting & inspirational energy of the 15,000 men & women I chose to surround myself with this weekend.

One of the best moments I had this weekend was making a new friend at that killer chicken and waffles joint next to New York New York (if you have not yet tried Bruxie’s, you must).
As we were talking, he was a constant reminder of how far off track I had gotten with my personal development (an insanely large portion of this business). I had done so much over the years to get my mind right & ensure that I always speak life to both myself & others, however, as “life” happened (& happened hard) I allowed old habits to return & I significantly lost my uplifting & inspired attitude.
Where else can you go meet a complete stranger (at almost every turn) that will remind you to be the best version of yourself?

The “I need to’s” are now once again “I will’s” & “I’m going to’s”, the “I should be’s” are now once again the “I am’s”…
Don’t underestimate the power of your words or your crowd. You are both what you say you are & who you hang out with most. Take a look at those things & make sure they align with your life’s pursuit.

👈🏻20s vs 30s👉🏻 There’s no doubt I loved a good party and night out, but I remember taking hours finding something to wear that didn’t make me feel “fat” or uncomfortable and I remember people commenting on my confidence, which made me feel like a fake bc I really didn’t have any! 😟
I would spend hours in the gym, yo-yo diet, waist trainers, diet pills, but nothing seemed to work nor did it help me feel any different.
These programs changed all that!! My confidence, my mindset, my LIFE!! I know asking for help isn’t easy and starting something new is scary and hard, but it’s those uncomfortable moments that make it all worth it! It’s easy to get distracted from our goals. There are plenty of times where I don’t feel like working out or running, but I’m so thankful to my hubby who fully supports my fit goals 😘 .
Tonight was one of those times. I am not officially training for the marathon yet, but my #NRC pre race coaching plan had me scheduled for a beast of a 9 miler tonight. 😬😬 I could have easily skipped It, but Derek challenged me to meet my goal 💖🙌🏼💯 and I did!!! It may not have been my best 9 mile run, but I did It and know this run will make me stronger in the long run. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Moral of the story, find a support system. People who support you and your dreams and never take your eye off the prize. 👏🏼👊🏼💥🔥 #yougotthis
Wanna work that (in my case meaty) hard-to-reach spot on the outside of your upper leg? 🙋♀️💁♀️ This oughta do it! When I started 80 Day Obsession ~75 days ago😳~ I could barely do this move with 1 loop around my legs. Now I can do 2️⃣!! 2 other girls in my challenge group finished this (amazing) program yesterday and if you swipe left you can see what they have to say about how they are feeling now... New review alert! I recently discovered @barreworksstudio in Brentwood, and it immediately became my new favorite barre workout. The Barre Sculpt class has all the elements of a traditional barre class but also includes sculpting and toning with weights for your legs, butt and core! Normally I find this type of workout in dance cardio sculpt classes but it was awesome that #Barreworks incorporated it into their barre classes to make it more challenging.
