Sometimes all you need is some cute motivation work out attire to get you going. which is the case for me today. However I know what its like to still get dressed im ur fav workout get up and feel the urge to be lazy, that's when you gotta dig deeper and remind yourself why you started.
One of the best things that has helped me through out my health & fitness journey is having a group of like-minded individuals who want to help me and cheer me on. Leg day for me today! I was reading an article about workout burn out. I'm not there yet, but I have been! I really am loving the Body Beast and I just have a few weeks to go to finish the program!
Anyway if you are experiencing an exercise burn out, there are some things you can do to help with this. It isn't abnormal at all! We all go through periods of time where we feel tired of doing the same thing or we we are lacking some motivation.
1. Change your routine. When I finish a program I like to move on to another or a hybrid.
2. Other physical activities besides your work out. We like to run, bike, hike, or play racquetball.
3. Recognize wins... like I held the push-up hold longer than last week.
4. Make daily goals- like I'm going to increase my lift weight by 5 pounds and 5 reps.
5. Ask for support.
What helps you stay motivated?
I know what anorexia feels like. I suffered from it. That's why it was my first theme. Just know that if you don't eat your metabolism will slow down and as soon as you eat normally you'll gain weight. So maintain a healthy diet. #support#suportgroup#anoreixa#eatingdisorderproblems
