@eclipseessexnc in action at yesterday’s @playnetball tournament in London. A great event, a lovely day in the sunshine and to top it off we walked away the winners! Well done and thank you to everyone who organised the event and to all the other teams who take part as well!
#supersaturday#snackmistress#cheatday 🖤 #gummies#popcorn#pizza#candy Oh My!!! The 5 hours of walking hopefully burned some of that 💩 off 😎. The amusement park with my #family sure was fun. You bet the Jaadaas fucking Jagwaa of Pow Wow Fitness Inc spun that egg ride 😜 what's the point of having biceps if you're not going to put them to good use. I loved finding gummy soldiers hehehe I ate them all up.
It is SO hard to put into words what days like today mean in your life... but the shortest version I have... Live life on purpose. Jump before you're ready. Follow your gut. KNOW where you're going, and have the flexibility and grit to change up your way now and then. Followed by the grace to know that sometimes it may take a little longer and that's ok as long as you go and don't stop.
Know your home base and your roots... mine are my beautiful family who are living their best lives BECAUSE of the freedom and choices we're creating. Karate belt testing, college cheer tryouts, toddler adventures, building a house, building a tribe, raising a new precious baby... all today, all because there are no limitations set on any of us. No status to meet. No rules of how to do this. No negative voice of what if I fail.
Our rules: Be grateful, love hard, work hard, live in your truth, make it happen and most importantly surround yourself with those who clap the loudest and are there to acknowledge and love your home base. We realize more than ever that our friends that have become family are so precious to us and I thank each and every person that clapped, helped, smiled, grew, and shared in growth or love with us today!
My cup is so incredibly full and it has less to do with me and so much more to do with those in our lives who we put there. Intentionally. You know who you are! Thank you. Thank you. 100 times over. I don't want easy, I want meaningful. And the GREATEST lesson of a meaningful life is *It's not just about YOU*
The rest of Relay for Life was wonderful. I had an epic garden salad for dinner and a fruit salad for dessert. There was more fun to be had with family. Finally the luminaria ceremony was beautiful. It serves as a reminder of why I taken part in this event every year.
In October of 2012 my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Thankfully it was detected early and it was operable. Today my dad celebrated five years as a survivor. I'm thankful for his life and of all those we celebrated. May they all have the hope and strength to continue another day.
