If you hadn’t caught on, last week we had CEO Matt Runnalls link up with @for_theboyss to trek from Noosa to Byron Bay to raise money and vital awareness for mental health. 310kilometres of pounding the pavement.
3 dudes helping dudes find the comfort and acceptance to speak up and get the help and treatment they require.
It was hard yakka and the boys are all very broken and banged up , but the event was a huge success with a total of over $20,000 being raised to help further develop, facilitate and host trainings, workshops and innovative ways to wellness in high risk areas of our beautiful country.
The link is still in bio if you would like to contribute, but a big thank you goes to @roamingphar For looking after the strapping, rubs and everything pharmaceutical, @p3sportsgoldcoast for the help and treatment of the boys throughout, @aspley_hornetsfc for hosting us on one of the nights , @bsc_picko & @bthiggsrfa for the awesome range of products that got us through. @tribal_sport for the awesome range of clothing, @simmos_automotive for the vengabus support vehicle and helping the boys throughout in many ways as well as @chriscahill_dbaactiveco for keeping the boys upbeat, driven and full of energy. But a huge thanks to @dustin_strifffe For organising a Byron Bay Luncheon and raising valuable funds, as well as digging up amazing raffle prizes. Without these people the event doesn’t work, there really is some amazing people in this country and I reckon we cross paths with the best of them every day on this journey. Truly blessed and grateful for the contributions, support and help of people right around the world, Mindfull Aus is nothing without you all.
An event we will never forget. Resting up, exciting news to come.

Intensive care can be an emotionally difficult place to work at times. Self care is really important as well. Debriefing, talking, exercise, art, music are just a few things that can help after an emotionally hard day. Don’t suffer in silence. The picture above is one of the few things I do to relax after an emotionally tough shift. The Samaritans can support you as well. The Laura Hyde Foundation has also been set up to support medical professionals. Have a look :) https://laurahydefoundation.org/who-is-lhf%3F
This message goes to you girls , and especially to one of my friend who told me last night that she didn't find herself beautiful.
You're beautiful, all of you are.
You must gain in confidence, it's not because Britney have bigger boobs or Lucie is thinner that it makes them more beautiful.
Being beautiful is not only about physical aspect, it's about the image of yourself that you spreads around you. If a guy enjoys being with a girl, if she makes him happy, for example, his girlfriend, he'll see her like the most beautiful girl in the world, but, once they break up , once hate gets between them, once negative image gets between them,he'll find her ugly, but the girl didn't changed at all. It's all in the image of the person. And it goes the same to yourself, if you start loving yourself and have confidence, you will open your eyes on how beautiful you are.
You girls are all beautiful person , trust me , you just need confidence to realise it.
Believe in yourself, don't change to expect to please more , you are who you are and that makes you special
WOW what a weekend! The Tread Together fundraiser was a massive success and we thank you all for coming down and creating awareness for Suicide Prevention💜 💜
Our donation page is still live for a few more days if anyone would like to make a donation. The link is in our bio ☺️ #treadtogether#anytimefitnessaustralia#awareness#suicideprevention
Just some of the beautiful faces that contributed to our very successful 24 Hour Treadmill Challenge TREAD TOGETHER ✨ Every day our members continue to surprise us but they went above and beyond for this event. Our goal was to raise the much needed awareness and funds for Suicide Prevention Australia with a starting goal of $700. Not only did we smash that goal but we beat our second goal of $1000 by raising $1034! ✨✨ Thank you so much to everyone that came down and got involved and to every one that donated and made the day what it was. We honestly couldn’t of done it without you and as always we are so proud to have you as members here at Anytime Fitness Findon! 💕✨
It will suck. They won’t like it. It will be very uncomfortable at first. Once you put on your mommy/ daddy pants and take care of yourself and fend for yourself the way your parents or significant people in your life never did- it is then when you will start to see more clearly. Don’t listen to them if they try to convince you otherwise- believe how you feel around them or the things they said or did. It starts with making a healthy decision to cut all contact with the abuser- yes, even third parties. Yes, even if they were your friends too and still talk to the narc, and post his/her pictures. It doesn’t mean you hate them, it means it takes drastic measures to heal from something that is drastic and painful. If you can keep away from all contact it is best, if not, keep it at the lowest ever. Don’t look at their profile or their friends profile to see what they’re up to- it will work backwards in the healing. Move forward into new life, and if you care to truly heal; go no contact and find support and healing through a good therapist on narcissistic abuse! It’s been nearly 2 years of intensive therapy and I have come such a long way, and yes I cut loose many people who weren’t a support and questioned myself on it, but came to find that it was the right decision- your health and wellness always is. If they loved you they would have compassion and you would feel it. For now, you can love them from a distance, send up prayers and leave it at that- if you don’t heal then you are half living. Remember, peoples words on their own hold no weight, and we know that the most as empaths. Actions should match up with words, always.
Stay safe and blessed lovely people. 🙏🏼 #lettinggo#newbeginnings#healing#positivequotes#truth#trauma#predators#healing#safety#ptsd#cptsd#abusesurvivor#narcissisticabuse#npd#stockholmsyndrome#domesticviolence#domesticviolencesurvivor#god#jesus#christian#wisdom#truth#hope#depression#suicidalthoughts#suicideprevention#nocontact#flyingmonkeys
What a man David Selwood & his team @anytimefitness @afnarrabeen for raising funds & awareness for suicide prevention completing the 24hr #treadmillchallenge Truly inspiring work for an amazing cause close to my heart💙 Unfortunately suicide has devastating impacts on families, friends & communities. Each year, more than 2,500 Australians lose their lives from suicide & over 65,000 people make an attempt. It's the leading cause of death for Australians between 15 & 44 years of age – but it can be prevented & this is just the start to continue to help individuals in need. We all have a story & I am blessed & thankful by the loved ones, support & happiness I have in my life which enables me to help those that may need it.
If you are in need of help or support or just want to talk then please reach out & chat. Always here for you to try & put a smile on your face😊#itsok#rememberyouareamazing#treadtogether#suicideprevention#mentalhealth#loveyougreat#uniquedream
I’m having one of those days... those days where everything is just too much to deal with.. but it’s ok, tomorrow is a new day right? I get to hit reset & start again. And besides - Everything will be ok. It always it.
You are the sky and the trees and the grass and the air.
I breathe you in and whisper you out.
You are the sun and the rain and the wind and the ice.
Warming my heart and freezing my fingertips.
You are the birdsong and lamb’s bleet and wolf-howl.
Bemoaning the sun and serenading the moon.
You are the love and the loss and the light and the dark.
And wherever I go, I miss you there.
