Happy mothers day everyone 😊
The 4 Week Simple Mealtime post is up! This month is a challenge to bring the meaningful family time back to mealtime. How? Making it easier for the one who cooks the meal and sets the mood. #mom Getting to the table together is what is important so I want to make sure it happens. Simplifying and planning/being prepared for me is the vehicle to get it done. I’ve got an entire 4 weeks planned out and almost all of them under 30 minutes. A few fun ones to feed my learning and creative values. Recipe links and all. Head on over! Link in bio or go to SimplyTaylor.com/blog

I took Friday and Saturday off my W30 plan to celebrate my birthday. Now it’s time to do 30 days straight. Started today with salmon eggs Benedict (homemade sauce too.) I’m starting to love cooking more. Now for the endless dishes... that’s another story.
I use to skip breakfast a lot. I simply survived on coffee to get me through the day.
Reality: coffee gave me afternoon headaches and since I wasn’t eating in the morning I was overeating in the afternoon/evening.
I started Thrive around Christmas and barely drink coffee any more. Natural supplements that fuel my body have helped my self, given me more energy and alertness and have kicked the headaches.
I am now doing Whole 30 to help my eating habits and get back on track there. Making breakfast is a huge step for me. So I’m keeping it simple. Today I had scrambled eggs, salsa. I added leftover guacamole and veggies and some fresh fruit. Breakfast took about 5-10 minutes and I’m happy to start my day on track.
PS my Whole 30-Thrive Challenge started Monday and I’m already down 1.5#. Nice bonus result!!!
🌟Free journal for anyone who joins me. Ask me about it!
Getting back on track. Working on Whole 30 foods. Time to get into good habits in the kitchen again.
Lunch was a salad of roasted sweet potatoes, apples, nuts, tuna .. a totally random mix of stuff but so good.
•|you’ve got to keep it real while maintaining the upmost professionalism|• So here’s a look into my personal life:
My salon family means a great deal to me. They support me, laugh at/with me, grow with me and uplift me when needed. However, the best support starts at home for me. My husband. He and I are SOOO different, we roast each other on the daily. At the end of the day, he’s the one that will help me get to where I want to be. What feels like many moons ago, this man got me through cosmetology school when so many times I wanted to pack up and come home. (Among many things) He continues to push me to strive harder toward success. He pushes me to be a more resilient me. He also drives me completely nuts but I couldn’t be who I am without him. I wouldn’t be YOUR stylist if it wasn’t for this guy. I love you more than all the fabulous hair-do’s in this world, Levi!

Made an obligatory pilgrimage to Taliesin West and was honestly more impressed than I thought I would be.
The building is truly one with nature, grounded by angled stones that resemble mountainsides, and decorated with plants and water features at every turn. Really beautiful architecture and magically organic design.
Just posted my “where you are” video blog post!
Shot on my last day in Scottsdale, AZ and reflecting on how where you live and where you are in LIFE should impact the design of your space!

So many great healthy recipes online and in cookbooks, there really is no excuse to not eat healthy (yes I make tons of them so changing daily). I love to follow a paleo “diet” because so many options and flavors and it helps me melt the pounds away.
This week I made (a few awesome dishes) swipe left to see more. - Zucchini noodles with clam sauce
- Stuffed Peppers
- a Tuscan Chicken dish ❇️If you are on a weight loss / fitness mission... I have a fun free accountability group. You are welcome to stop in. I share many free workouts/meals for you to try. See link in my profile to join me. I’m on a mission and determined to make this a great year.

"Are you saying somewhere deep down we already know?" That was the question and the epiphany of my interviewer yesterday.
Yes we already know.
Your space, your home, is a part of you and you are setting it up to match your current vibration...so if you want to elevate your vibration and in turn elevate your life you must change your space... You innately know where, your Wealth area, your Love area, all the areas are in your home...and you are currently either empowering or sabotaging yourself...right this very minute... So doesn't it just make sense to want to understand it...so you can finally get out of your own way?
You've got big things to do here...let's get you doing them...it starts at home...with your home...with you deciding to make the change.

You no longer need to feel held back by "being at home." Your home is your power, use it.
