Inspired by watching the greatest showman last night and a few other life occurrences I have one message this weekend. Don’t let anyone tell you you’re not good enough. Don’t let anyone get you down. You deserve the best and you shouldn’t accept anything less than that. Had a break between jobs and needed a pick me up so I whipped up an almond milk matcha latte 🍵 sweetened it with maple syrup 🍁. I’m trying to wane myself off of coffee and experience the benefits of the matcha superfood (because I’m tryna live forever 👵🏻)
Finally settled into Germany 🇩🇪, thanks to my friend and her welcoming family 💛 Jetlag hasn't been too bad either. We spent the day in Dortmund, in the city center and Westfalenpark, despite almost burning ☀️. This cappuccino and veggie sandwich was quite refreshing 😋

Pre-Workout Nutrition is essential to provide an adequate reserve of nutrients for the upcoming workout. 🥑🥦🍚
Diet will depend on the type of training, workout intensity, gender, etc. 💪
For strength training, consume lean protein at least 1 – 2 hours prior to your workout
For cardio, take a full meal with at least 70% carbohydrates before hitting the road.
It is good to add fibre to deliver a steady supply of energy throughout the workout and prevent fatigue, which results from consuming carbohydrates alone

Have you ever had Vietnamese Bun (cold noodle salad)? It is usually my most favorite item to order at viet restaurants. This is my spin on it with zero carb #shiratakinoodles and it was a perfect substitution for rice vermicelli noodles. Like PERFECT... instead of a sweet spicy fish sauce, I changed it up with a spicy peanut dressing and my non-keto husband licked his bowl.
3 things I’ve stopped doing since the start of my fitness journey that have made me happier:
1. Stopped training purely for aesthetic reasons. Find enjoyment in the exercise you do whatever it may be
2. Stopped scrolling through Instagram for hours comparing myself to other girls. Unfollow all the generic ‘fitspos’ and appreciate you are amazing
3. Stopped labelling foods as healthy or unhealthy. No food should be associated with guilt and you should never feel restricted
Over the years I’ve learnt that living a healthy lifestyle is different for everyone and it is exactly that - a LIFESTYLE. Not a quick fix 28 day booty ebook or a fad diet. I’m in this for life✌🏼

Any of these sound familiar? What if I said none of these are true. I know I know, I don't know what your life looks like so how can I say they aren't true. Because I used to say the same things. Until I realized that I was listening to my own story, that I created. Wasn't a true story. Just an easier one to believe so I wouldn't have to be uncomfortable, and change my thinking. Life changes when you choose to participate in it, on purpose.

I own that shit because I grew me a booty, and these stripes are proof of that! We’ve all got em, girls, never forget that. No girl on instagram is 100% free from stretch marks and cellulite, and that’s totally cool. Own that shit. .

This was our final 4 minute round. Our focus is to improve Jodi's footwork, rotation and full extension when letting her shots go. -
As you can see Jodi has fantastic natural skills, and she has a great platform to build on. Once Jodi gets to work with her boxing coach @kate_flynny she will see a noticeable improvement. As she transfers weight well, but needs correction work when using phased attacks. Also she is flat footed and this will improve because she focuses and trains so hard. This makes you appreciate the effort and skills of all competitive boxers and gives you an insight into what it takes.

Don’t usually like to workout in shorts, but it’s so hot these days 😅 Lenge siden jeg har kjørt decline benkpress, prøvde meg på den igjen i dag. Husk at variasjon viktig for fremgang på trening. Jeg bytter ofte ut «ekstraøvelsene» jeg gjør i tillegg til baseløftene, det bør gjøres med jevne mellomrom 💪🏻
👆Progress 🤪 3 Years a go I didn’t know how to do a squat and pull ups were a dream I had a bad relationship with food and stress 😨. I now feel confident training in a gym, my over all health is in one of the best places it’s ever been and have a much better understanding of training 🤗. However, I literally couldn’t have done it without getting personal training - it’s the best thing I ever did for my health. I’m currently not where I want to be as I’ve been leaner, but I’m much better at training then I used to be 😳🙈 and stronger in all ways than I’ve ever been 💪 I’m improving my body confidence, but I’m still trying to find the happy point. Next step is Crossfit .... let’s see what that will do to me 🏋🏼♀️🍑 I get asked a lot by friends how am I motivated and how do I train - almost everything I’ve learnt in the gym is through @bramwell_fitness who I highly recommend if you need to learn, get motivated and get results. Sometimes all you need is a shift in perspective to see things a little more clearly 😉. Hanging upside down is my favorite way to shift perspective 🙌🏻🎪 AND it has a crapload of health benefits 💪🏼❤️ .
it drains the blood back through the lymphatic system and gives it an extra filter ✅, realigns the spin (not this pose lol!)✅, and clams the nervous system ✅ to name a few

LOVED this post from @nourishedmindbody - yes, some people have medical, dietary, or moral needs that require elimination of certain foods. But it’s not a contest to see who can eat the least. Food isn’t clean or dirty- it’s fuel on both an emotional and physical level. 💜
