It takes so much energy for people to have to be right. Sometimes it even takes weapons to keep their ideas alive and spreading. Those who take ideas to extremes with a single-minded purpose and never notice different shades of gray are the true losers in their fight to keep their beliefs alive

STOPPEN MET ROKEN • Oh wat is dit lastig om te doen. Vroeger was roken heel “normaal” maar nu is voor mij ook het besef doorgedrongen. Na 6 jaar roken is het nu klaar. Ik ga stoppen. On the way home from my little brothers appointment at BUP we had #burgerking (again). It was really challenging because I’ve already eaten there this week and I feel soooo unhealthy now...😫 But I have to try to accept that it’s okey to eat this two times a week. That’s just how it is sometimes. It doesn’t mean I have to do it or that I will do it next week, but I will probably do it again sometime before I die. And it’s OKEY!💙

Prehab Foundations 101(Day 1) was one of a kind workshop by @dr.jacob.harden I attended recently. I am so glad that I got the opportunity to hear live from the person whom I was only interacting with in Instagram. It was kind of a dream come true situation for me to meet him in person. I can go on and on about my experience meeting him but, my two cents from the first day workshop,

1) Every person has their tolerance limit for stress (be it workout or day-to-day work), beyond which their body conveys the same through pain meaning "stop it boss". If you still push through pain, there comes the capacity limit beyond which your body says "bye bye boss" meaning it will break down. So, "Be kind to pain and stop it boss". 2) Each person is built differently. Some can squat ass-to-grass, while some simply CANNOT. Know your limits and work around it rather than looking for other person's limit and you working around other person's limitations.

ME? Always my upper back, neck and between my shoulders!! Stress can affect the body in so many different ways - and it often results in PAIN! 😩 I haven't worked out in almost 4 weeks, and the house is STILL torn apart for these renovations.  Add in all the other things on my TO DO list and I'm a giant ball of stress lately!  The pain has been increasing - I've bee trying to ignore it - but it's now affecting my sleep! 😴

And when we're tired we're even more apt to succumb to the effects of STRESS!!🤬 The cure?? 💡 
Do something relaxing AND exert force on your muscles = YOGA!!! Stretching and tensing the muscles forces blood to flow to then and encourages healing!! 🧘‍♀️ So yes, tonight, I put everything aside for 30 minutes and got back to what I KNOW is good for me!

📖📖📖 from “Procrastinate on Purpose”
If you went to a lake and found an experienced fisherman at dusk, what would you see lying right next to his feet strung together near the edge of the water?

Yes, you’d probably see a full line of all the fish he had caught so far.
.
What if you went to the lake at 11:00am instead?  How many fish do you think he’d have on his line?
You probably wouldn’t see many fish—if any at all.  In fact, you probably wouldn’t even see any fishermen there.  Why not?
Because there are no fishermen fishing at 11:00am—because fish aren’t biting at 11am!

The fish are biting at dawn and dusk.
You could go fishing at 11am and cast as many lines into the water as you want—that is, work as hard as you can and as fast as you can—but you simply won’t get the same results as you would with that same amount of energy applied in the morning or in the evening.

...The proper question is not so much “Am I fishing the right amount of time?” But “Am I fishing at the RIGHT time?”

Do you think the fisherman who is fishing at dusk stops to clean each one of the fish right after he catches them?
Of course not.
Why doesn’t the fisherman clean the fish?
Because that would waste the precious limited time he has to catch all the fish when they are biting.
Now, do you think the fisherman will eventually clean all the fish that he catches?
Obviously, he will.

Es gibt wohl kaum einen Satz, der bezeichnender für mich persönlich ist als dieser. Mich machen Herausforderungen,  das Überwinden von Ängsten,  die auch ich mit mir rum schleppe, glücklich. Ich umgebe mich gern mit spontanen Menschen, die zu vielen Schandtaten bereit sind und ganz viele verrückte Ideen haben. Abenteuer und Spaß geben mir Kraft und Energie für den Alltag. I don't think we understand how stressful it is to explain what's going on in your head when you don't even understand yourself. We use filters  to lighten our photos whilst we carry the heavy weight of stress. Remember, it's OK to have highlight reels, but make sure someone knows how you really feel. It's OK to use FaceTime, but make sure you spend quality time face to face. It's OK to have followers, but make sure you have true friends. Don't live for the approval of others. Document the moments you're most in love with yourself. Not just the moments you think people will love the most. 
When someone doesn't post for few days, we ask if they're OK. When someone posts everyday, we assume they are. Tell people you love them. Be a trustworthy friend. Tell them that they matter. Tell them that they've survived a lot and they've ready to thrive now. People who care will ask how you're doing. People who love you will wait till you tell the truth.

Taoisme (Tionghoa: 道教 atau 道家 ) juga dikenal dengan Daoisme, diprakarsai oleh Laozi (老子;pinyin:Lǎozǐ) sejak akhir Zaman Chunqiu yang hidup pada 604-517 sM atau abad ke-6 sebelum Masehi. Taoisme merupakan ajaran Laozi yang berdasarkan Daode Jing (道德經,pinyin:Dàodé Jīng). Awalnya Daode jing disebut Laozi Wuqianyan(老子五千言) atau Tulisan Laozi Lima Ribu Kata. Selanjutnya Dia meninggalkan ibu kota dan tidak pernah terdengar lagi kabar beritanya. Belakangan, semasa Dinasti Han (202 – 221 SM) kitab itu mulai disebut Daodejing, karena membahas mengenai  Dao ( Jalan ) dan  De (德, atau Kebajikan) yang diajarkan Laozi. Kitab singkat yang berjudul Daodejing itu, untuk selanjutnya menjadi kitab pegangan utama bagi para penganut Daoisme. Pengikut Laozi yang terkenal adalah  Zhuangzi (莊子) yang merupakan tokoh penulis kitab yang berjudul  Zhuangzi. Selain itu ada Lie Zi 列子, Huainan zi 淮南子 juga termasuk filsuf Taoisme. Lie Zi, Huainan Zi juga membuat kitab yang berjudul Lie Zi dan Huainan Zi.

Taoisme adalah sebuah aliran filsafat yang berasal dari Cina. Taoisme sudah berumur ribuan tahun, dan akar-akar pemikirannya telah ada sebelum masa Konfusiusme. Hal ini dapat disebut sebagai tahap awal dari Taoisme. Bentuk Taoisme yang lebih sistematis dan berupa aliran filsafat muncul kira-kira 3 abad SM. Selain aliran filsafat, Taoisme juga muncul dalam bentuk agama rakyat, yang mulai berkembang 2 abad setelah perkembangan filsafat Taoisme. .
