Violet sand* streaks across the beaches at Pfeiffer Beach in Big Sur. Garnet washes down from the hills above with many other minerals to leave behind these beautiful trails into the sea... 💜
*Despite it's similarity in appearance to Fun Dip, I have confirmed it is in fact just very tiny rocks. Thank you for that to Si-Si the wild pup, and by proxy @lupinime
Fun fact about me, I have never liked the color yellow. When I was little I won the Golden Easter Egg hunt finally one year in Helena, Montana. When I went to claim my prize all that I received was a yellow shirt. My parents said I cried for wayyy too long #spoiledrotten But I’m loving the concept of wreathes in front of pretty frames!!!
Barrenjoey Lighthouse sits at Sydney’s most northern point, Barrenjoey Head at Palm Beach. Positioned 91m above sea level, the lighthouse can be reached by a couple of walks and offers outstanding views.
The lighthouse is one of the most iconic sights on Sydney's northern beaches and boasts a notable cultural heritage. Built in 1881 from sandstone quarried on site, the lighthouse, its oil room and keepers’ cottages remain unpainted in the original stone finish.
