Started this Squat journey at 85lbs for 10 reps. Switched to a pyramid scheme for a bit and she's at 180lbs for a double at 120-125ish Bodyweight. Moving on up!!! Keep up the good hard work Angela!! 💪💪
Yesterday was heavy squat day for the week. This was 390lbs for a 5x5 on a Texas Bar. This one moved a lot easier than I expected it to. This was set 5 of 5. The only glaring issue I see is how wobbly I was between reps 4 and 5, but I was exhausted from the 4 sets before this, and the 4x7 on bench at 235lbs that I did previously as well. I'm about to get into the meat of TSA Intermediate and I am looking forward to the challenge.

I love that saying ‘a body in motion stays in motion’ 🏃🏽♀️ because it’s so true!
Over the winter, my workouts were very sporadic, I was constantly skipping days which meant by body had no routine & I started gaining weight & moving less.
My body was at rest 🛌💤 rather than in motion.
But ever since I created a plan & a routine, wrote it down 📝 & started taking it seriously, I’ve been hitting my goal of workouts 5x a week & it feels great!
My body is back in motion & loving it 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 There’s just something about an early morning workout that seems to fuel me & energizes me⚡️🔋⚡️ for the rest of the day!
It sets the tone & keeps me focused on my nutrition & water 💦 intake as well which are also a big part of my May fitness goals.
I’ve started to pay less attention to the numbers on the scale 📶 & more attention to how my body feels internally & externally, emotionally & physically💁🏽♀️ The less I worry about the minor things, the more time I have to pay attention to the important things ✨🙋🏽♀️✨
Last week's session working on form whilst getting stronger. 42.5kg for 5 reps on squats, lets hope today will go even better.
