This past weekend we were graced with our semi-annual family flu 👍 which meant lots of soup and applesauce. I made this delicious split pea soup which is nutrient rich and satisfying yet mild on the tummy with these overnight soaked legumes.
The recipe below makes a massive batch which is perfect for meal prep and freezing, though you’re welcome to half the recipe for a smaller turnout.

Well... I'm back at it! Mixed vegetable soup puréed with naan bread avocado and tomato bruschetta. Total WW points: 7
I used celery, sweet potato, garlic, asparagus, jalapeño seeded, kale, and leek. I sautéed everything until soft and added 4 cups of water with vegetable bouillon. I spiced the soup with curry powder, graham masala, cayenne pepper, black pepper, fresh thyme and bay leaf. I simmered soup on medium high heat for 15 min and then puréed everything. I puréed a can of chickpeas with the soup broth and added to soup for creaminess. I heated a naan bread on a pan until crispy. Golden Curry Coconut Dal soup// This is seriously my favorite soup. I got the recipe from @mynewroots and my notes on the page are 'A+ Delicious, definitely double recipe.' Yep, i still feel that way many batches later. This is a really warming soup with all the great spices, ginger and garlic but it's still great any time of year. The lime squeezes add just the right amount of acid to the bite so it doesn't feel too wintery to me.
1 tbsp coconut oil
3 medium yellow onions, diced
2 tsp fine sea salt
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp ground cumin
1 Tbsp curry powder
1 tsp turmeric
3 cups broth
1 cup red lentils
3 medium carrots, chopped
1 can chopped or whole tomatoes
1 14 oz can of full fat coconut milk
1 or 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
1 handful of fresh cilantro
It's amazing how tasty Brocolli and Stilton tastes so good.

Lentil spinach soup 🥣 I hate cooking 😌 I’ve recently purchased a @instapotagram and it’s made “cooking” or getting food on the table much easier! Here’s a @instantpotofficial recipe!
💢 2 cups of @progresso beef broth 💢 1 cup of water 💢 1 @knorrpy Chicken stock cube 💢 1/2 cup of dry @ziyadbrand Lentils 🖐🏻^^ Add all of the ingredients to your #instapot and press the soup button. My setting is on 30 minuets. 💢 Blend the soup with your @ninjakitchenuk blender
💢 Once the soup is blender add 6-7 handfuls of spinach & mix 💢 You can them hand blend the soup to break up the spinach or skip that step!
💢Add salt, pepper & lemon 🍋 •
That’s it! The recipe makes about 6 cups of soup = 550 calories 😋 2 cups 👉🏻183 calories full of fiber!
• Italian Vegetable Soup •
Healthy, delicious, and easy. This slow cooker soup is perfect for lunch! Packed full of veggies & protein, this soup literally makes itself in your slow cooker. What gets better then that?! Recipe:
- 4 carrots chopped
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms chopped
- 1 medium zucchini chopped
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 2 cups chickpeas
- 1 cup chopped frozen spinach
- 1-28 fl. oz can diced tomatoes
- 1-14 fl. oz can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon each: garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning
- Salt, pepper and chili flakes to taste
Chop carrots and onion. Place in slow cooker. Add broth, tomatoes and tomato sauce. Add chick peas and spinach. Stir in seasonings. Cook on low for 7 hours. Chop mushrooms and zucchini and add in with last 30 minutes of cook time. Top with parm and enjoy!

I am always like “omg who even orders soup or has soup for meals it’s not even real food” lol and then I go home for a few days and my mum reminds me how friggin delicious soup is so then I come back inspired and make the same soup for weeks on end. This one has been a particular favourite for the past few weeks. Super yum and super easy what more could ya want. Also delish with avocado on top (cos everything is delish with avocado on top) 🥑

Learning how to make Vietnamese chicken fo soup😱was fun and I will show a picture of the finished product later tonight. In the meantime I’ll let you know it was a lot of prep but well worth the effort. A shortcut would be buying cooked chicken and gluten-free chicken soup. Put in ginger ,green onions, cilantro ,coriander chicken soup,Rice noodles, Gluten-free fish sauce, 1/2 tablespoon sugar. You can use any vegetables you want I like peas and carrots. Always peel your ginger, make sure your chicken , vegetables and noodles are pre-cooked throw everything in together simmer and add your fish sauce and any other spices you might like.Add the noodles into your bowls so they don’t cook again.
I made this zuppa toscana recipe, but with merguez (spicy lamb sausage), leftover in the freezer from when Costco was selling it, and I bought it to recreate merguez frites, Moroccan street food I loved in Marseille way back in college on my semester internship abroad. This soup is simple to make, but tastes fancy!

Got a special recipe for y’all to blow the socks off your next dinner party with CB’s take on African Peanut Soup created by our retail manager, Erica. It has all our employees and the local community lining up at lunch time to get some! 🤤🥜🥘
-1 tbsp peanut oil
-1.25 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
-1 medium yellow onion, diced
-2 carrots, peeled and diced
-1 green pepper, seeded, diced
-3 jalapeño peppers, seeded, membranes removed and minced
-3 large cloves garlic, chopped
-2.5 tbsp curry powder
-Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
-2 28oz can fire roasted diced tomatoes
-4 cups chicken broth
-1 medium red garnet yam or sweet potato, peeled, diced
-3/4 cup CB’s Nuts Creamunchy Peanut Butter
Heat oil in a heavy 6-quart saucepan over medium heat. Add chicken and brown. Remove from chicken pan and set aside. Add onion, carrots and both types of peppers and cook for 8 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Make a well in center and add curry powder and peanut butter. Cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Add salt, pepper, tomatoes, broth, and yams. Stir to combine. Return chicken to pan along with juices in bowl. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes. Optional garnishes: chopped tomato, cilantro, scallions, chopped CB’s Fresh Roasted Peanuts, plain yogurt or sour cream.
I’ve craved greens through my pregnancy and this is one of my favourite soups. It’s great to boost iron levels (I’m trying to keep mine up as twins suck all the iron from you) loads of other health benefits and super tasty.
X 2 shallots
X 2 packs celery
X 1 large bag baby leaf spinach
X 2 cloves garlic
X 2 kallo organic veg stock cubes or X2 teaspoons veg boullion
Wash and chop celery and add to pan with chopped shallots, crushed garlic and stock.
Cook in fry light spray or coconut oil for roughly 10 mins
Cover with boiling water and cook further 25 mins.
Add washed spinach at very end and blend 🍵

Mexican Chicken 🐔 Soup!
Makes 4 servings
1 ½ Green
3 – 6 ounce cooked skinless boneless chicken breast
2 Cups plum tomatoes
¼ Cup onion, diced
1 Teaspoon minced garlic
1 Cup red bell pepper
1 Teaspoon cumin
1 Teaspoon oregano
1 ½ Teaspoon chili powder
1 ½ Cups chicken stock (must be 1 carbohydrate or less per serving)
1 Cup unsweetened almond milk
1 Cup reduced fat cheddar cheese
Take oil in a pan. Once hot, add minced garlic, followed by onion. Fry till Onion start to brown a little bit.
Add chicken breast in a pre-heated Slow cooker. Add crushed tomatoes, cooker Onion and garlic mixture, all the spices, and salt.
Add warm Chicken Stock. Cover and let it cook on high 2-3 hours.
At the end of cooking using two forks shred the chicken breast.
Add chopped bell peppers, Cream, cream cheese, Shredded cheese. Further cook on high for 20-30 minutes.

Asparagus. I have roasted it, grilled it, tossed in salads, thrown it into pasta dishes with olive oil and cherry tomatoes and just recently I found what looks like a yummy recipe for Asparagus Lemon and Mint Soup! I am a huge fan of soup (and asparagus and lemon and mint too 😉) 🌟
These little spears are packed with good-for-you vitamins and minerals like vitamins A, C, E, K, and B6, as well as folate, iron, copper, calcium, protein, and fiber. Тайный рецепт,от Парискиной бабушки-Донны Санчос. Мексиканский🌵 кукурузный🌽 суп с курицей🐔. Можно,конечно вместо курицы использовать и креветки🍤,но донна Санчос была женщина простая,без всяких гламурных штучек. Питалась только подножным кормом,поэтому маис и курятина-всему голова(так она говорила и Париску научила) Суп🥣 варился под внимательным наблюдением Париски,все древние традиции соблюдены неукоснительно.
1 ложка оливкового масла
1 чили перец (мы с Париской использовали чили пасту)
500 гр мороженной кукурузы
2 куриные грудки
250 грамм сливок
Соль,молотый перец и сухой чеснок-по вкусу
Если придерживаться точного рецепта Париски,то - толченый глаз единогора🦄 20 грамм.
Ставим вариться куриные грудки✔
Режем лук и кориандр✔
Кладем лук в нагретую кастрюльку и пассеруем до золотого цвета✔
Придаем к нему кукурузу,кориандр,сухой чеснок и чили перец✔
Оставляем тушиться 5 минут✔ Вливаем небольшое количество куриного бульона✔
Доводим до кипения✔
Суп посолить, поперчить и размиксировать погружным блендером до состояния пюре✔
Мелко режем готовую куриную грудку и кладём ее обратно в бульон,в котором она варилась✔
Туда же добавляем микс из кукурузы и бульона✔
Варим еще 5 минут,добавляем сливки✔
Доводим до кипения и как говорила бабушка Париски - apetito agradable🍽
