You are looking at a grain free, sugar free & most delicious chocolate decadent cake with a dark chocolate frosting, topped with a berry compote. It was a perfect end to a birthday meal I made for my Mama. .
Cake: 3 medium ripe avocados, 4 eggs, 1 cup of almond flour, raw cacao powder, maple syrup (or honey), 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, 3/4 baking soda, 1/2 salt
Blend in food processor. Bake in 9 inch cake pan at 350 F for 25-35 minutes.
Cool before frosting.
Frosting: avocados, 1 cup maple syrup lot honet), 1cocao powder, 4 Tbls. coconut oil
Blend in food processor. Chill before spreading on cake. .
Berry Compote: handfull of strawberries, cherries, raspberries & blueberries. Touch of vanilla extract. Cook down on stove top to desired thickness. Plop on top. Add some whipped cream if desired.
