Hi all! I don’t usually post details about my business too often, but I’m starting a new thing called Wellness Wednesdays where I’ll post here weekly to talk about what’s going on over at @thewhippletree 🌳And I can’t NOT share this, because if you’ve ever been curious about essential oils, it’s a really good time to get started. This set is usually $160 and is on sale for $119 until Friday, and I’d love to help anyone interested in learning more or jumping in to natural wellness... or, if you just need to restock your oils collection, that’s fine too. Head to my business page for more details of what’s included, or shoot me a message with questions. If you’ve been waiting for the right time, this is it🙌🏻✨
We love our Dad’s. Show him off with the kids and yourself (psst it’s like a family session) but we are showcasing HIM! 😁
Just a few spots left!! DM and to book! A few August dates have been opened up due to demand! 🙏🏻!! 😍❤️
It's that time of year when all of the spring and summer beers are tapped, which means new scents and smells for TavernWick, too! Any and all suggestions are welcome for new summer candle brews! Comment below with your idea- if your idea is chosen, you will receive a FREE candle of that scent. Please submit all ideas by Friday, June 6th! Winners will be announced that day- CHEERS AND GOOD LUCK! 🍻
HOW TO ATTRACT ANYONE WITH YOUR MARKETING 🎈
On a sheet of paper (or, electronically for all my Earth-loving peeps), complete the following sentence: “My/Our ideal customer is _____________.” Now, if your sentence looks something like this: “My/Our ideal customer is anyone who _____________.” . . . you’re going to have to dig a lot deeper. Do You Really Want To Attract Anyone With Your Marketing? 🎈
See, the title of this post, How To Attract Anyone With Your Marketing, is actually a ruse. Because you can’t win customers if you work hard to attract “anyone who . . .” I mean, how do you think you’d sound if your best friend was looking to set you up with someone special and your only benchmark for quality was “anything I can get . . .?” You grow your clientele by connecting with people who are already in the market seeking the solution(s) you offer. 🎈
Therefore, whether you manage marketing for a large company or you’re a solopreneur, the key to attracting your ideal clients is to be crystal clear about who they are. Then, to coordinate all your efforts around them. You definitely don’t want to attract just anyone with your marketing. To read the rest of this article, use this link -- https://bit.ly/2yJgC68
So many people think once they reach a certain level of success or make a certain amount of money that they can just chill and stop working hard but it’s really the total opposite. •
The more success you reach the harder you’re going to have to work or you will lose it all. 70% of lottery winners end up bankrupt. Life is just a constant grind, start embracing it. “You’ve got to learn to love the grind because life is a grind”- John Calipari
Are you fearless? ⠀
Many people are nervous about using essential oils, how to start, what do they do. I adore this little book, it is a quick start guide that I give to everyone who joins me on their oily journey! Along with a Happy Oiler Handbook loaded with recipes and so much amazing info. ⠀
Be fearless on your journey! ⠀
I know, I knowwwww. I said I was done with kids stuff. And then I found not one but TWO vintage 90's tee shirts that took me right back to Miss Goodrow's Kindergarten class at P.S. 54. It's possible I owned both of these at age 6, and one of them still describes me prettyyyy accurately. 😂
I get SO excited when I can find other small businesses who can create the things our clients need. We had sourced a decorative laundry board from a wholesaler who discontinued it. We then took the image to @sozo.interiors and said “Can you make this?” And Courteney and Bradley said “Of course we can!” This is the final product-aren’t they so talented? We can’t wait to find more projects to work with them on❤️
Turn your dream into a plan. Write it down. Most people go through life without bothering to write down their goals. Very few people have specific and measurable goals and even fewer have written these goals down. When you dont have a plan, you don't know how you will reach your destination. Without a plan you know only where you want to go, but you don't know the exact path that will lead you there. Your plan is your map/GPS to your dreams.
Have you written down your goals? If yes, what is your experience with setting your goals and making specific plans?

One of the biggest lessons this season of life has taught me is that life takes a lot of time.
I graduated from college a couple years ago feeling like I’d have my shit together by now, like I’d be in my dream job, living my best life and having extraordinary experiences.
Joke’s on me because i most definitely don’t have my shit together, I have no idea what my dream job is, and the most extraordinary thing I’ve done today is ~think~ about trying to make kimchi.
This season has taught me that patience is really, really hard and the most important thing I can give myself is grace for not being where I thought I should be. Today is about choosing to find the mundane beautiful. To look for something that gives me life, even if it’s ordinary. To be thankful that Spence and I can wander through our 20s without a whole lot of direction and be absolutely fine ✨
What’s something you saw today that made you feel full of life?
