Timelapse time! Dozens of bridges, hand operated locks, and a canal not much wider than my floating shed - that's the back waters of The Netherlands. Well, I crashed into one bridge and almost missed the exit to Germany. Oops. #happylittleaccidents
On our trip to the town of Tequila Mexico we had a private tasting of the Fortaleza (Sauza family) tequila. We were taken into a dark cool cave lit only with lanterns and tiny lights. We were then poured some of the best tequila we've ever had. For tastings, tequila is often served in champagne flutes so that you can enjoy the aroma and fragrance of the specialized tequila. .
The winding, twisty, hilly cobble-stoned streets of Toledo are perfect for getting yourselves lost in (which we did quite a few times 😂). It’s also the perfect place for a walking tour to learn about the 3 cultures (Christian, Muslim and Jewish) whose influences you can see melded together everywhere in its buildings. They’ve also started to line the streets with a long canopy with large hanging lamps and tapestries hanging over balconies in preparation for the Corpus Christi procession next week. #toledo#slowtravel#spain#streets#españabycar
