I've been fasting a lot lately and yesterday I went out with a friend & I had to eat something and drink in front of him because he knows a little bit about my ed (since I've been hospitalised for 4 days a couple years ago and I had to tell why I didnt go to school so randomly without being sick) and I didnt have much food but I was feeling so dizzy and nauseus before eating and on my way to the place we met and I got scared that I was gonna pass out on the sidewalk (I had been fasting for 36 hours then I had like a 200-300 cal meal, cant be sure because it was homemade, and then again a 36 hours fast until we met and went for dinner) So I had a cosmopolitan (200 cals) & a burrito (aprox 600 cals). I walked for 40-50 minutes and burned some of it and now I fasted for 20 hours after that. And Im sooo hungry right now but I can still go on with the fast but I have a terrible headache and I feel dizzy..so should I eat something?? I had aprox 800 yesterday and I feel like a pig but Im scared...do you know what should I do?
I've changed my routine and app:
After several months of strong lifting I felt I had plateaued.
My body became used to the lifts.
While I was incrementally gaining strength, there were certain points I couldn't push past.
Becoming increasingly aware that my ankle injury threw off my form, I've recently started paying great attention to my technique.
Stretching and hydro is helping to get mobility in my ankle, and assisting me to make better lifts.
SO! I've shifted my focus from strength training for now to what I find to be exciting body building!
With the help of the guys/gals at Casey RACE I've developed a nice set of workouts which I'm really excited to smash! So far, they have been challenging and rewarding! You may even see me doing some HIIT soon. 😱
The apps: strong lifts 5x5 is such a great app, and has got me this far, but I needed an app that I could really customise and that would track all my progress... Enter "STRONG"
Strong is so easy to use, and you can customise and track and it has a timer and it seamlessly integrated with my googlefit. Which was awesome cause it logged alllllll my weight progress! Yay! I recommend it! Actually I recommend both.
My weight gain: well.. it's a long road but after being violently ill last week (lost 1.5kg in a day from vomiting) I feel like I will break the 70kg mark reaaaaallly soon! I have very little fat and my muscles are popping, but I'm not happy with how much I weigh. I want at least 75 to 80 kg. I do kinda like how I am shaping out though.
Here's to a hard winter of training!!!! #stronglifts5x5#strong#skinnyman#weightgain#weighttraining#bodybuilding#technique#gymapps#gymgoals#hydropool#rehabilitation
