Here you go peat lovers! Notes of honey and lemon zest on the nose. The palate is herbaceous and slightly sweet, with an obviously generous dose of smoke. On the finish, there's a nice touch of bitterness akin to dark chocolate that lasts for minutes on end, coupled with wood spices that needs water to tame down. You know... Octomore!
Throwing it back to a bit earlier this winter, when the mountain lakes were perfect for a skate and this bottle of the @balvenieus #carribeancask was still full, have a great day everyone it’s almost the weekend 🙌 🏒 🥃 .
Who else enjoys the occasional noggin of whisky ? I have a weakness for single malts with my favourites being the Belgian Owl. I currently have a bottle of 60 months and a 36 months and they are both quite splendid. Of course the delicious Belgian Gouden Carolus single malt and the exquisite Lagavulin single malt scotch whisky are magnificent as well. Music and whisky go so well together for some reason 🎶 🥃 #flute#fluteplayer#flutesofinstagram#flutist#whisky#singlemalt#singlemaltwhisky
