9km casual walk up to #garibaldilake One of my best adventures last year. Also I like when people tell me you can't do it or it's impossible. It let's me know that I am up to something good. #mountainstories
So between City Hall and Downtown PG is a large space where construction has begun for condos.( right in the centre ). Now this is good as bringing people to live Downtown creates a vibrant centre.Congrats to all those involved in bringing this project to life. But i heard something about the trees infront of the city that really concerns me and i hope is not true.Need to check it out. Will be watching and documenting as it goes along.
We picked a route and didn’t know what to expect. It was in the forest and mountains, after that not much else really matters. We were pleasantly surprised to discover some passionate hikers had improved a low lying big section. You never know what you will find when you #explorebeyondtheusual . I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and had a nice #earthday . That being said as others in my circle mentioned which I firmly agree with, make it #earthdayeveryday . 🌲🏔 #explorebc#cascadiaexplored#sharecangeo
"Bring a Buddy ".. We asked people in our circle of friends to come to St Mike's today to see what we do at church and to reintroduce people to our community or maybe its the 1st time. Its all good. We'd love anyone in PG or visitors to town to feel welcome to come out ant Sunday 10am.Rev Debbie Scheepers on Left Rev Clive Scheepers centre and Layminister Linda Robinson on the right.
Happy Earth Day! 🌎
Earth Day last year grizzly bears could still be trophy hunted in British Columbia. This year the trophy hunt has been banned and I can't think of a better thing to celebrate today.
Thank you to every individual that spoke up, wrote a letter, made a phone call, signed a petition or voted.
It goes to show if we all take action for the planet we can all make a difference, every day should be Earth Day....
