DAY 106: Ways you can love being active.
Often time trying to stay fit and active can be something we are not always motivated for, even though it's so crucial for out well being and health.
That's why i am so grateful for activities that make you forget your aim is to stay healthy. I love discovering new physcial activities that are so much fun and i enjoy doing.
On day 106 i went to give tennis a go and i'm thinking to get more invested on this sport. I also really enjoy the process of learning to transform from a clueless beginner to actually being able to handle yourself pretty well in let's say a tennis match in this case.
I'm always a fan of staying healthy and fit with activities you love, so today i'm just appreciative for so many options we have out there to do that. 🙂
I have always wanted to travel overseas and experience a different culture, and I remember saying that I would never go to Bali, had no interest. I wanted to do New Zealand and America, Nashville etc. Anyways. When this course came up at Life Design in Sydney last year I was vulnerable, lost, newly a single parent and finding my feet on my own again. I took a leap of faith and tried to get a loan to pay to get me to Bali. Ofcourse I was knocked back as I hadnt worked for a few years as a stay at home mum and wife. I had nothing to my name and I have been knocked back for most things even right up to now. I was so down, depressed, felt useless and pathetic. But thanks to my mum applying for a loan for me, I am paying a loan off on top of all other expenses and was able to get to Bali to a course at Zen Resort thru EQ Events. I cannot explain how terrified, excited, and lost I was. Wondering weather it had been worth the stress and tears. But I learnt so much about myself and life. I was able to forgive myself and heal to help me move on and do something big with my life. I had soooo many beautiful experiences and a nice culture shock. The Balinese people were the most kind, loving, happy people I have EVER met. They live so simple and dont have very much but they keep giving and are just beautiful. I learnt so much from them, and I feel so blessed we crossed paths. I have so many stories and memories, I'll cherish forever. I am grateful to have Keith's support to let me go off and do these self development things and take care of our daughter while I take care of me to find myself again. Nathan's support to me in every way and helping with Mikaylah is something I am blessed to have in someone. I did it. I got myself this far. I paid to get myself there, I grew the courage to get myself to where I am. But not without the love and support of my loved ones. I made some amazing friends that I miss every day, and can't wait to watch their journey. I needed this, not just for me but to be a better mum. What story are you telling yourself?
On Sundays I take time to reflect on the past week. In the lead up to yesterday's reflection, I had a story going on in the back of my mind that it had been a difficult week.
When I actually looked over the week, I saw that it had been a rich tapestry of events. Some tricky things happened, yes, AND some down right miraculous things had happened.
What if those 'tricky' things are also gifts? @drjohndemartini says that everything is 'on the way' not 'in the way'. And you know what makes it so? Your thoughts about it. That's it.
So I looked over the 'tricky' things and reframed them as 'on the way', even though I can't yet see the bigger picture.
Then I looked at the positive things that had happened. I'd almost erased them from my mind in the negative story I had been telling myself. :
Then I rewrote the story of the past week that I'd been telling myself. :
Good or bad things didn't happen. Things happened. Some I would have preferred not to happen, but they did. So rather than fighting what IS, I trust the process, rewrite the story I'm telling myself and get on with this brand new week ahead.

First, let your 'why' become bigger than your 'how'
When I saw that one road did not work in healing myself. I always went back to 'WHY' I was doing this.
For me that was:
I wanted to live and without any treatments.
Because I knew the road in hospitals will eventually lead me to my dead. I didn't want to be depend on anything outside of me. .
I know and saw that my body could heal it self but I was missing something.
So if one road was leading me to dead so why not take another road and try that one?
The result could be the same but it also can be very different and it could lead me to life.
So, it was VERY scary but I felt that my 'WHY' was possible. DEEP DOWN I knew it was possible.
So I jump and the hows came on my way. Everyone is on hes own path of life and has to deal with there disease how it feels good for them.
For me I found my cure in myself and I trust my body for 1000% now. My cancers helped me to change myself from the inside out and without them I had never had changed. I can't heal cancers of anyone like nobody could heal mine. I only can tell my story and let them see that everything is possible if you take your heart road.
So I'm thankful for the lessons they gave me. It's was hard and I was so alone but that was needed to go all out and focus on my healing. So my cancers message to me was HEALYOURSELFCONNECTION.
Find your own path your heart will lead you to it. Like mine did for me. You just have to make time to listen. Get out of your mind and go to your heart.
Do I know I'm not going to die tomorrow? NO I don't. And I'm ok with that, actually no one knows that. What I do know is that I truly lived my life the way I wanted it to be. 🖤💛❤ .

Every time we step out of our comfort zone to pursue something of meaning to us we are shedding old weights we no longer need and creating a positive ripple effect far greater than we can imagine.

Today we are combining the power of gratitude to mindfulness to practice mindful appreciation! I encourage you to ask yourself the Coaching Question ‘What are 5 things in my day that usually go unappreciated?’ The point of this is to simply give thanks and appreciate the seemingly insignificant things in life, the things that support our existence but rarely get a second thought. eg the person you meet who sells you the ticket for your train journey
or the kettle that heats your water for your first coffee of the day. Once you’ve identified 5 things/people- make it your duty to find out everything about their creation and purpose and truly appreciate the way in which they support your life. This appreciation helps you harness your mind in the present moment and increase your consciousness of your thoughts rather then being on autopilot.

Yes, it is. I’m in the practice daily of choosing calm over chaos and I can see the fruits of it in all areas of my life. Meditation helps to connect to a place of unwavering calmness within and if done daily bring nags more to be calm about in your life. 🙏 #meditationdojo

Divine and sacred knowledge/awareness is never truly “explained”, where explanation itself is a logical activity which is limiting.
You will notice that the guidance here usually speaks of “what is helpful, wise, and unwise...” on your path, but never instructional.
A Master can express through their own words how “it feels” to realize aspects of unfolded gifts and practices which all have access to, however an adept can only truly embody such an awareness through their own experience.
You can read all the books, take endless classes, and watch endless videos on Ascension attempting to figure out a “short cut” to heal and you will always come up short.
This is a process that is mandatory which requires you to surrender and accept that all that you have “learned” is holding you back from the freedom you intend to realize.
Do whatever it takes to be the best version of yourself.
Imitation is limitation. You limit yourself and your potentials when you try to be and live someone else's life.
So do whatever it takes every single day to create the best version of yourself.
Be yourself - a bolder self
Be yourself - a stronger self
Be yourself - a more confident self
Be yourself - an unpologetical self.

I am SO excited and proud right now!
One of my past clients starts her absolute dream job today and I feel like a proud momma waving her off to the next step in her life.
12 months ago It was something she'd kept pretty quiet about and never thought she'd ever do... but fast forward to today (with her newly found confidence And love for herself) there is no stopping her.
And do you know what, when she set her intentions from her heart and went for what she wanted, it was like the stars aligned and the universe fell into step for her.

My word for today is Surrender. Surrender to what is and don’t fight against it for what you think should be instead.
Linc has been having loads of sleep battles lately and after going to sleep after midnight last night, he had only 30 mins of sleep today and wanted to be carried & hugged lots which resulted in me not being able to do all the things I thought I would - like mopping the floor & sorting out some stuff for our pub. So, after feeling frustrated for a little while I made the choice to surrender. I packed up a bag, smothered us in natural sunscreen & insect repellant & we walked to the beach and caught the end of low tide so had some nice shallow pools to sit and play in which is what we both needed! He is now having some much needed sleep ❤️
I always think that our beach is off limits to swimming - stingers & jelly fish during summer & the potential for crocodiles all year round but I realised today that we just need to time the tide right & it’s perfect!
For years I dreaded Monday’s, off to the grind again. All those sad (I don’t even think sad is the right word.... more like numb) faces on the bus with me. Off to work they didn’t love, crushing their souls one day at a time. Likely working so hard to buy things they thought would plug the hole and bring happiness. Just like me.
I spent years chasing external things, thinking that the next thing whatever it was, would be the thing that brought happiness. Whether the promotion, the house, the pay rise, the relationship, losing 5kgs, the right clothes.... it goes on. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Every time I ticked the next box though, the happiness was fleeting. My horizon shifted. The goalposts moved and I was chasing the next thing. The feelings of something missing, of not being enough, always quickly returned.
That’s when I went on a journey inwards, peeling back the layers to my ultimate truth. And I’ll let you in on my secret, happiness is an inside job. That’s where the joy is. When you know who you are and accept all of it, you can know live in a way that aligns. That’s where joy, satisfaction, self love and so much more live. Then the car, the promotion, the pay rise, they become the nice extras, the cherries to your already wonderful cake. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Yesterday I had the first meeting of the Rise&Shine program. I have been wanting to do something like this ever since I first learned about it.
