Tailgate dinner prep... There’s something gratifying about having everything you need to survive with you, be it backpacking or a Tacoma loaded down with all of your essentials. The allure of a nomadic lifestyle always seems to be in the back of my head.
As I look back at this picture from a few days ago, I imagine in future years from now 2 or maybe 3 little kids trying to smile while uttering complaints of hunger pains as mama dearest me pinches their little behinds just to get a nice family photo. Future papa Dayday will probably be asking when the picture will be over so he can go and grab his favorite steak. And Milo will forever try to attempt chasing a duck, squirrel, or a fallen food from some clumsy kids late afternoon snack. I think then will that become my favorite " touristy " family picture of us. Till then folks. Only time can tell. 😜🌸 And why does everything always revolve around food? 🤔
Oneonta Gorge is on my mind today I probably won’t get to hike it again before I move to Arizona. These pictures are from 2010 ❤️ After the Eagle Creek Fire there's a great chance that this area will be closed for a long time still.😕 I'm so thankful for all of the peaceful times that I've spent in this location with all my friends! We use to always have the whole place to ourselves. It was our secret getaway. One of my most favorite places I have ever been. #oneonta#greenery#oregongorge#waterfalls#tunnel
