I think most would be confused as to why I often showcase another artist’s hand lettering as opposed to my own on my account. (Like the one recently by @alimakesthings -this one included-) but what a lot of people don’t know is that even though I have a serious love for all things hand typography-calligraphy style, and often try to replicate it myself- I’m not the greatest at it, and probably never will be because of the essential tremor in my hand. But you know what? I am a really big fan of raising up others in my weakness. So I will continue to showcase others and give them credit where credit is due as long as I’m on the creative wave of life (so always 😏😬) also the essential tremor will NEVA dictate how far I will push myself in my craft. Only I can do that! #recognizeothersintheirjourney
Nevertheless, she persisted | This year I’m forcing myself to do things I told myself I’d never do or like. Like learning to run a 5k (I know now you know I’ve lost my mind 😂). Trying to take care of my physical and mental health as well as reach a goal I’ve set in place. Please hold me accountable with this. I’ve forced myself to go even when I’ve sat myself down on the couch for the evening or had a crummy day that I thought could never get better. And afterwards I thank myself for going. Literally! I feel so good 🏃🏼♀️ Persistence can seem like an annoying thing but it eventually takes you places you’d never think you’d go. I’m gonna do this ❤️
Then the Lord God said “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make a helper suitable to him.” Genesis 2:8

DAY 2: FEAR.
Lord, I know that you did not give me a spirit of fear. So Lord I ask that you would help me face my fears so that I can overcome them. I am more than a conqueror in YOU. So today, I stand on your word and rebuke the enemy where he is causing me to be afraid. I take courage and exercise my authority over fear. I will not live my life afraid, timid, or scared anymore. I am a child of the most high God and I will live a victorious life. In Jesus name, AMEN.
Praying this prayer from #tffbolder over myself and you today. Fear is not our portion. Prayer is a weapon we need to use to defend ourselves from attacks from the enemy. If you’re wanting to pray bolder and fight back, I think this prayer devotional will help. Link in bio to purchase 💕 #thefaithfeast
Today’s handwritten Scripture (Matthew 22:37-39) comes from Pastor Josh Feay who reminds us that the best way we can remain salty and light is to love God and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Sounds simple, but what keeps from being the salt and light we’d like to be? Not loving God first, not loving ourselves, fearing rejection more than trusting God and missing opportunities. Take some time this week to begin to add value to your own life and impact the lives around you by taking these key growth steps: WORSHIP GOD | PRAY | TRUST GOD | LOOK & ACT #saltandlight#loveGod#loveyourneighbor#worship#pray#trust#act
Success has never been nor will it ever be an overnight thing. I have found that it all has to be built incrementally. We often wait for God to open the BIG doors and He does. But what we do until then matters just as much. It’s so easy to overlook the simple task or instruction but that’s where the discipline is. Its where the growth happens . We must be faithful with the little things so that we have the character, fortitude, and heart for the big ones. What’s a small thing you’ll be faithful with today? #thefaithfeast
We are called to be a light in the darkness! We are called to be wholehearted warriors! We are called to follow God! We are called! We have to be a light for this dark dark world! We aren’t called just to go to church on Sunday’s and Wednesday’s, but we are called to go out and help be a light for others to see! We are called to be salt and light. With every breath we take should be to lift up the name of Jesus! With every step we take should be to help guide others to Jesus! If we want to see revival in this country, it must first start in our hearts!

More about our partners:
“At the cooperatives, our garments are individually stitched in small workshops, with one seamstress creating an entire garment rather than being part of a production line. Many Mata styles are then carefully finished with hand embroidery in the women’s own homes. Their training starts with hand sewing, moving on to simple machine patterns, like bags, and eventually mastering the sewing machine. Showing leadership skills offers the women a chance to become head of their sewing group or get promoted to positions like trainer, quality checker, materials buyer, or assistant production manager. In a country as socially stratified as India, this type of social mobility in the workplace is a rarity.”

John 6:37 says, "Everyone the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never drive away." Because of Adam and Eve disobeying the LORD (eating from the forbidden tree/Genesis 3), humans are born with a sinful nature. We want to do what the Spirit hates (fleshly desires), and we struggle to do what the Spirit leads us to do. When we walk by the Spirit, it means we are trying our best to crucify the FLESH, every second, minute, hour, etc. Before coming to Christ, I was a HEATHEN (walking in my wicked ways). Yet, one day, the LORD touched my heart, the exact way I was (every flaw and all), and started to draw me near, to Him. Let me tell you; God did NOT mold me, overnight. I surrendered my life, to the LORD, and little by little, I saw the LORD transform me, into His image, and will continue doing so, as long as I'm in my earthly body. Many individuals think that, in order for GOD to accept us, we have to clean ourselves up (having no sin and transforming ourselves), before giving our life, to Him. Yeah, that's NOT how it works. God wants us to go, to Him, as we are, and day by day, HE will mold us, into HIS image. Remember this: God is the potter, humans are the clay (His masterpiece). Isaiah 64:8 says, "Yet LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our potter; we all are the work of Your hands." We come as we are, to GOD; but, we do NOT stay that way. God is able to fix EVERY flaw, mistake, brokenness, EVERYTHING, in us. The best thing we can do is leave everything in God's Hands, and trust HIM. Let HIM do the molding, the circumcising, the purifying, and we are to simply OBEY (love) HIM. LORD JESUS died for our sins (John 3:16). He doesn't expect us to be perfect, when going, to Him; and even now, He doesn't expect us to be perfect, as His children (we have a sinful nature). But, that is NO excuse to continue sinning. We are STILL to kill the flesh and do GOD'S will, all the days of our lives. The only GOOD, in us (born again Christians), is HIM; and we become righteous, through faith, in HIM, ALONE (Romans 3:22). Don't let others feed you heresy. Test EVERYTHING and cling to LORD JESUS.
As sons we bear the Name.
As sons, we carry the name of Jesus.
Narrow and sometimes lonely is the road, but Christ is SUFFICIENT.
Nothing else matters.
We are far from perfect but we strive to be more like Him even when we fall short and make mistakes along the way.
What a POWERFUL name we bear.
What a MIGHTY name we bear.
May we never lose hope and continue to shine the light of Jesus so that others may come to know Him too.✨ #SALTandLIGHT#LIGHTbearers#JESUS#Tremble by @mosaicmsc #LOVEthissong#worship#worshipcovers#worshipcoverwednesday

I don’t talk a lot about Micah’s metabolic disorder online, or even in real life. Partially to guard Micah’s privacy and partially because I don’t want IVA to be his defining characteristic.
Nevertheless, he has a rare disease and that occupies some part of my brain space every single day. Justin took him to Arkansas for his metabolic appointment today and I hated to not be there. (I FaceTimed in for part of it though.)
I am so grateful for excellent doctors and nutritionists that help us care for him. I’m grateful for friends who pray over him and us and his appointments. I’m grateful that God is perfectly capable of holding Micah.
Also- that man- I’m grateful for him too. He’s such an involved dad and a great example of what a man should be. #marriedup#adifferentmotherhoodstory#isovalericacidemia
How much you really know about your immediate neighbors. Do you know their names? Do you know anything about their lives? DO YOU KNOW HOW TO PRAY FOR THEM? God gives us opportunities to be salt and light every day. It's not about forcing God on people. It's about seizing moments to serve others and show them His love. And it starts with knowing who they are. #loveyourneighbor#saltandlight Link in bio for practical tips on how to neighbor well.
To everything there is a season.
A time to plant and a time to uproot.
A time to weep and a time to laugh.
A time to mourn and a time to dance.
Heavy grief is a season. It may linger long and hard, but one day we realize we're smiling and popping out of bed for the day ahead and planning for the new future. The missing is always; the despair is not.
If you're in a season of grief, do the hard work and process all the emotion, rooted to God. And know, even when you don't feel it and can't see it, that spring always comes. 🌿
“And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.” This is the place that remembers where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount. The Mt. of Beatitudes. Very special place, sitting in the gardens overlooking the Sea of Galilee, reading the same words that Jesus spoke to the people. The smell here is indescribable. Everything is blooming, Jasmine is strong, earthy fig trees. Just Wow. #PoppySwiftIsrael2018#HolyRollers#SaltAndLight#BuiltOnTheRock#BlessedIsHeWho
A few years ago, I felt like had no true purpose, no true reason except existing. Yes, I was a wife and fur mama, but it didn’t seem that there was a higher calling. I love my husband and being a wife, but I just knew there was something missing. I felt it constantly “bugging”me from the inside.
Many times,I felt like I wasn’t doing anything at all that made a difference in this world 🌎 What if I died? Would I have left a mark on this world at all?! I knew as a believer and follower of Jesus Christ I was suppose to be telling people about HIM. Sharing of His great love ❤️ and the hope that others would place trust and faith in Him. I wasn’t doing any of that. I felt like I was failing and that I must be a disappointment. 😩
Then, I realized my outlook needed to change. I shifted my focus; I could make a difference even if just for 1 person and I started using my platform on FB as a stage to glorify HIS name! ♥️JESUS♥️ My goal is to share hope with the hurting, the suffering, and the broken! It takes 2 seconds to scroll on here or other social media to see we are all broken and struggling and going through storm ⛈ in life in some aspect.
Sometimes we feel like we can’t really make a difference. BUT, by doing nothing (because I felt I was defeated) Satan was getting exactly what he wanted. 😡 He had me thinking if I couldn’t be a “Billy Graham” and a “world changer” that I shouldn’t even try. Who was I? No one! 👉🏻God placed YOU in my life, in my own little part of the world. I have people who I know who are directly in my life that I can encourage, love and share the hope that only comes from Jesus. I may not be able to make a difference worldwide, but I can make a world of difference even if just for one person who God has placed in my path 💜
If we all do this on our little piece of the world 🌎God has given us we could truly make a difference.
Many people say Social media is drama, negativity, gossip and hate, but I’m here to be a light. I aim to be a bright spot and I want to make a difference!
Even if just for one♥️ #bethelight#saltandlight
I was called to this and I will use what God has given me as a platform to lift up HIS name 🙌🏻✨
God is always for us!
Leaving the 99 to save the 1,
He cherishes you with all of His heart!
So accept and believe in Him! 🙌
“How great you are, Sovereign Lord ! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears.
2 Samuel 7:22 NIV
I read 1 Corinthians 13 the other day and a wave of peace hit me. This passage describes what love is. And I realized in that moment that my God IS love. Which means He is in fact, all of these things this scripture describes. What a beautiful truth to meditate on today 💕 #thefaithfeast
Hey there, friends!
Wow. Lots to update on.
For one, I am HOME!
DTS has officially come to a close. I can't believe it! These past 6 months have flown by like a whirlwind. They have been the most incredible and life changing months of my life.
When I arrived that humid late night in Kona, little did I know what I was fully getting myself into. I was excited, alittle nervous, yet so expectant for the Lord to move in mighty ways. And you know what? He blew every expectation out of the water!
The Lord has grown me in more ways than I know, and I've witnessed His miracles more than ever before. I have encountered the living God and been entirely consumed by His fire. There's no going back!
These last 6 months consisted of learning how to fully receive the Father's Love, joyful surrender, and laying everything at the feet of Jesus. I finally stepped fully into my identity + calling, crushing every fear and doubt. I learned to hear that still small voice of God more clearly than ever before, and I saw His heart so clearly in every bit of creation. He's given me more of His heart, more of His eyes, and more of His ears. He's broken my heart for the things that break His and has called me higher as I partner with Him. What a joy it's been! I can't wait for more of this radical life with Jesus. There truly is no greater joy and satisfaction than giving your all for the One who gave it all for you. No greater gift than the love of Jesus. No greater adventure than going through life with Him side by side. // I'll possibly be doing a "DTS in review" type of post to share more in depth how the Lord moved & transformed hearts, testimonies from the nations (praise God), and what DTS was like overall! For now, you can check out my most recent post on whole-hearted surrender!! Love you guys, chat soon! 💛✨
