I woke up this morning more excited than usual because Salem has a Saturday market I’ve been really anticipating going to for months, and it blew any expectation I could’ve had. Sooo many local vendors from food, jewelry, flowers, wood working, ceramics, etc.. we walked around for a while and had so many people wanting to pet Taylor or talk with us about her, I can’t say enough how nice everyone we’ve encountered has been. We got a bowl of paella to share while we finished walking around. It was amazing. If you couldn’t tell by the picture. It’s crazy that this goes on every Saturday from April through October. I can’t wait to come back every Saturday! From there we went to #salemcenter mall, where we walked around for a couple hours looking through stores and taking pictures of a small section of the #downtown area from the walkway. Rudy’s steakhouse has the most beautiful outdoor dining area I’ve ever seen and couldn’t walk past without a picture. I got my first of many #oregon souvenirs, I’ve fallen in love with this city the last two days. I’ve never been so happy and content. I look forward everyday to whatever presents itself to us.
