I got really amazing news this morning!! Some of you might remember that I had a shitty transphobic prof at the beginning of the semester and had to drop out of his class. This class is mandatory for me to graduate and he’s the only prof that teaches it. Well, after getting human rights involved and the chair and dean of my program, I finally heard back and I DON’T HAVE TO TAKE HIS CLASS!! This is a huge win for me. The human rights rep also told me that me coming forward is part of them deciding to increase trans inclusivity in FACULTY WIDE training around language and making classrooms safer places for trans students!! And this specific prof is going to get an education session from the dean around why his attitude is NOT acceptable. I feel heard, respected, and valued by Ryerson with this decision. They are letting me know that they do in fact give a shit about trans students and that they are willing to work towards being a better university. YES!!!!

I am super excited to drop this picture and shoutout these two superstars and business owners: @arty_hercs and Lorie from @hercscityplace.
Artur & Lorie started out with the small gem of an idea of wanting to run their own business and living Life on their own terms and it is now flourishing into a huge forest of abundance.
Understand: the journey to turning your dream into reality will be challenging, you'll have to make sacrifices, take risks and believe in your vision in order to keep moving forward and making it happen.
But, what's the alternative? Not taking a risk and staying in the same position, year in and year out? Living a Life that you, deep down, know is not the life of your wildest dreams?
Take a risk, invest on your success, push through challenging moments and I promise you - that we will come out on top together.
I am really happy to be part of your journey and looking forward to see you guys shine brighter and brighter each year. Visit them @ Herc's Nutrition Cityplace (123 Fort York Blvd, Toronto)
Let's Make 2018 Our BEST Year So Far - Together 🔝
Noise in indoor pools. The microbiological quality of steak tartare. Food safety messages on online recipe blogs. These are just some of the topics that undergraduate students from the School of Occupational and Public Health explored at the annual Student Research Symposium held earlier this month.
Every year, students taking research courses in occupational health and safety and public health and safety have the opportunity to work with professors on a research topic of their choice. The project culminates with a presentation to peers and the chance to compete for prizes at the annual symposium. Congratulations to the award winners! #FCSinAction
Exciting provincial announcement this morning delivered by Minister @mppmitziehunter and Minister @harindermalhi announcing the location of #RyersoninBrampton (@ryerson_u & @sheridan_college partnership) is downtown Brampton!

PLACE FOR THE NON-PLACE: a series (4/6)
Final Renders: After creating my set on Rhino, I used the V-Ray plugin to render the set with materials and lighting. I then used Adobe Photoshop to put the models in wearing Noa Raviv’s fashion collection.
I kept the set black and white to help emphasize the vibrant designs of Noa Raviv. The black, circular streaks on the set helps to complement the organic shapes of the fashion without overpowering it. The black walls, ceiling and floor represents the mind and how your thoughts come from nowhere like how these models came on the set.
I 💚 Coffee | Thank you so much @maxsmeals for sharing this new coffee spot with me! Not only is this place extremely aesthetically pleasing, but they too make a bomb latte! Also, they have a @drinkripples machine which takes latte art to a wholeeee other level ✨ This coffee shop is right beside @ryerson_u’s campus, making it a solid study spot with good vibes and good coffee... what more could you ask for? Happy Friday jr everyone! Have an amazing day ✨

So much wisdom and knowledge packed in these boxes. Can't wait for our life long learners to get their hands on these books. Also we are proud to be able to recycle these books so that they don't go to waste and students don't have to buy the new copies. Saves students lots of money and also helps the environment.
