I had the chance to meet Matt Kaulig at the Cleveland auto show. He’s an entrepreneur, businessman and a Nascar team owner. It was really nice to meet someone who’s done so much and will continue to do so. Good luck during this Nascar season! It was honestly a pleasure to meet you, thank you! #mattkaulig#kauligracing#ryantruex#cleautoshow#theland#nascar

Hattori Racing announced last week, that Ryan Truex notified the team that he wouldn’t return for the 2018 season. Hattori is still currently looking for a driver to fill their No. 16 Tundra, while Ryan Truex has found has found his new ride the 2018 season. Truex will take over Blake Koch’s No. 11 Chevrolet at Kaulig Racing. Truex ended up, the highest non-playoff driver, in Camping World Truck standings, last season, after missing out to the playoffs, with a tie. The newly formed, Kaulig has 10 top 10’s through 66 races, 1 pole, and made the Xfinity Playoffs in 2016 and 2017, both seasons, with Blake Koch, who is currently looking for a ride. Truex’s latest race in the Xfinity Series, came at Texas Motor Speedway, in November 2015, with Biagi-Den Beste Racing. The younger brother, of defending Cup champion, has a total of 39 Xfinity Starts, with a career-best of 2nd, at Dover, in 2012. Truex also has a pair of back-to-back K&N Pro Series East championships, back in 2009 and 2010.
Matt Kaulig, owner of Kaulig Racing, is a CEO of LeafFilter Gutter Protection, which has sponsored Koch, since 2015, with TriStar, before moving to Kaulig. The sponsor, regarding Truex, will be made shortly.

NEWS!
Ryan Truex will take over the 11 for Kaulig Racing replacing Blake Koch in the Xfinity Series!
I’m happy Ryan has a ride but I really hope Blake can find one too. Kinda surprised with this move tbh. Hope Blake lands a decent ride.

Might have a new Xfinity favorite. Really happy for Ryan. Even though I will never forgive Blake for what he did to Bubba at Phoenix in 2016, it sucks to see him go. I thought he was doing really well for that team. Right now the competition for my 2018 Xfinity favorite is between Ryan and Justin.

NEWS!
Ryan Truex won’t return to the 16 Truck for Hattori Racing. (Little late with the news I know) I’m really disappointed they didn’t resign him. Ryan nearly won several races for the team last season. No news about who will take over his spot or where Truex will go.

We supported this guy all last year from the beginning of the season. We raced against Ryan back at Charlotte, great family, hope next year goes just as good! #nascar#martintruexjr#ryantruex
