ive been avoiding eating in this restaurant because I thought I’d have nothing to eat but they have soba noodles (a fave) and a vegetable okonomiyaki! and I got to eat with my friends yay 😋 • soba from Dohtonbori
it’s been a while but say hello to my NEW FAVE COFFEE!!!! I want to have this every single day 😋 • I only buy coffee from Starbucks but I’d gladly rather have this over Starbucks any day • cold brew + cashew milk from @purenectar.co
How pretty are these @cakethievesbakery vegan donuts!? 😍
What’s your favourite way to eat potatoes?🌱😛 I love these stuffed potatoes with @daiyafoods cheese and Greek yoghurt! You just bake the potatoes 🥔 and then cut them in half and scoop out all the insides and then mix the mashed potatoes with some vegan cheese and almond milk to make it creamier and then put them back in the potatoes and bake again for a few minutes.
Not the ordinary food post, but today I went to @mythologydiner with my boyfriend and the menu was recently updated but all the food was so gooood 😍 In the pic I was drinking their Strawberry “Not Tall” Cake Shake and it was so sweet and creamy 🍓👅
I’ve come to the conclusion that the main difference between a vegan and non vegan is compartmentalization when it comes to what we eat. We all do it on some level, in some facet of our lives as a defense mechanism. What we often do not realize is that we are defending something that harms everyone along the chain of interdependence:
Compartmentalization is a subconscious psychological defense mechanism used to avoid cognitive dissonance, or the mental discomfort and anxiety caused by a person's having conflicting values, cognitions, emotions, beliefs, etc. within themselves.
Compartmentalization allows these conflicting ideas to co-exist by inhibiting direct or explicit acknowledgement and interaction between separate compartmentalized self states.

“When you start eating food without labels, you no longer need to count calories.”
My weight used to fluctuate 5-10 lbs. daily when I ate animal products, took supplements and used protein powders. I used to obsess over the scale and restrict calories.
Now I eat between 2000-2500 calories each day on a whole food, plant based lifestyle. I get all my nutrients from the food I eat and I still weigh the same every morning.❤️
Vanilla Bean Banana Nice Cream

Not ready to go totally #plantbased ? 🌿✨
Start with trying #meatlessmonday first, then graduate to substituting one meal at a time (breakfast, lunch or dinner) as you phase animal products slowly out of your diet. This will help set you up to succeed! ✌🏼🌈🥑🌱#plantbasednotperfect
What are your priorities? 🌈 -
Would you rather roll up in your designer gear eating fast food or roll up in your thrifted clothes eating the best mangoes in the world? 👅
Floss for the commercial world or vital your ital?✌🏽
This quote comes from an inspired traveler, John (@jmmcmahon) on his way home from an adventurous couple weeks in the rain forests of Costa Rica. 🌳
As he sat in the air-conditioned airport awaiting his flight home, eating a tree ripened papaya on the corner side, John noticed many people pass with high heels, briefcases, leather jackets, and such high-class clothing as they proceeded to consume fast food the likes of McDonald’s, Arby’s, and Carls junior. 🍔
Wearing thrifted shorts and sandals, and his traveling backpack, John noticed many stares coming from passerby as well.👀
John does not dismiss wearing luxury items as foolish or unnecessary but simply feels that such luxury and high class ideals should also be applied within the body and within the food that we consume. 🧠🌱🤸🏽♀️
Now John is safely home having learned the skills of a jungle technician in the arts of bamboo craftsmanship. 🎋
Our hope is to make some fancy jungle buildings at the farm with John’s new perspective and abilities. 💡
John is already an extremely skilled and creative craftsman, so we’re confident everything he builds and designs will be epic! 💗
P.S. This is a ripe mango from our farm, we will be harvesting more today to ship out to you all 🧡
