We left Metsovo before daybreak, and drove the winding mountain roads of northern Greece to the valley town that surrounds the towering boulders of Meteora. Our arrival came just in time to watch the morning light spill into the tree-filled valleys below.
Sungnyemun is one of the Eight Gates in the Fortress Wall of Seoul, which surrounded the city in the Joseon dynasty in 1398. Its name means fire. Ironically, in 2008 a man named Chae Jong-Gi set it on fire. It was destroyed and then rebuilt in 2013. Before the 2008 fire, it was the oldest standing wooden structure in the city.

Perry and I just got out the other night thanks to @urbansitter as they allow you to book last minute and have a piece of mind doing so because you can view videos of each sitter and see their reviews from other parents who have scheduled them before.
We don't have family nearby so a service like this is often the only way we can pop out for a few hours to spend quality time as a couple. #urbansitter (sponsored)
The thing I love about photography is it lets you relive moments that you may otherwise forget. I remember this evening as sitting by a fire finishing my mulled cider as I watched the sunset behind this beautiful mountain range.
