Man, back in my senior year this was that knock right here! This was on every rotation down here in my city. All over TV & radio!! It was the first time we heard anyone sample The Luniz 5 On It!! And it was done right!! All the way right!
2 things come to mind for me around this time: #1 MTV actually showed the Making of this Video and i didnt record it!!!!!!! I watched it but didnt record it!!! ๐ข๐ข๐ข. Damn im still madd over that!! #2 Puff at that time was getting sooo much hate i remember ๐๐๐. After he released that Forever album cats was killing him in a AOL hip hop chat room i used to b in! At that time being a Puff fan i was, i went into the lions den defending Puff and i was getting killed ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. Its so funny looking back at it. But hey that Forever album sold like 2-3x platinum i think. The most important thing tho is that i thought it was a solid album. I still think that, it was Puff's last solid album. Alot of great quality tracks on there.
But ya, i look back on these times and just laugh ๐๐๐๐ hip hop was just so fun & interesting during these days. I miss it.
