As the folks at @riverviewbank are fond of saying, “Community is our middle name.” And they sure know how to live up to it.
While we admire all the amazing work they do to strengthen our shared community, Financial Beginnings Oregon is especially grateful for Riverview Community Bank’s commitment to financial literacy. Every year, they show a fresh dedication to teaching Oregonians proactive financial habits. They dedicate their time and donate their money to ensure that the next generation is armed with all the knowledge and skills they need to make important financial decisions wisely and well.
This year, Riverview Community Bank donated $5,000 to support Financial Beginnings Oregon’s financial education efforts, and one of their Vice Presidents, the amazing Farhad Dadkho, joined our Board of Directors. He's also constantly getting out into the classroom and sharing his expertise and stories. These photos are of him out in the community teaching. The first photo, he’s teaching the leadership students at @official_sei our Banking module. Then the second two photos are from our Credit event at @southridgehighschool. Riverview's support will help us as we race toward our goal of educating 30,000 Oregonians this year.
Financial Literacy Month wouldn’t be the same without Riverview Community Bank, so we thought we ought to celebrate them. #Riverview#RiverviewCommunityBank#PNW#PDX#Oregon#Volunteerism#Community#Nonprofit#FinancialLiteracy#FinancialLiteracyMonth#FLM2018#FBFLM18#FinBegOR#PersonalFinance#Education#SEI#SouthridgeHS
