Spent the Labor Day week 30/4 - 4/5 at Taiwan eating and hiking with the best Malay friend!! 🇹🇼Don’t have the habit of taking photos so here are some videos/photos from instastory that I managed to save HAHA. Ate so much (Taiwan sausages & bbt ALLDAY ERRDAY), climbed so much⛰, bought so much. Experienced a mild earthquake in the morning as well as I woke up from feeling my entire bed shaking and found Iffah grabbing frantically onto her bed, thinking it was a ghost HAHAHA #died Absolutely Fun Taiwan!! #taiwan2018#yaynature#nvclimbedsomuch#riplegs#ripdiet#superlatepost#workinglife#needasocialmediaassistant#anyone ?
The big daddy of them all.
Hero Wod Murph:
1 mile run
100 pull ups
200 push ups
300 air squats
1 mile run
Wanna make it harder? Add a 20/14lb weight vest. I partitioned mine and tried to do 20 rounds of 5/10/15. Ended up going for a bigger rep set because I thought I may die before I finished. Took me 51:42. This was before my death. #riparms#riplegs#riplife
Signed up for this by myself initially but you insisted in doing it with me even though it’s something you hated so so much 😵 4 years ago, you did exactly the same thing and we completed a full marathon tgt. Yesterday, we completed a half marathon tgt. Thank you for always pushing your limits for me 💖 #whereismyknee#sleepcanwait#buthalfdead#riplegs
Best boyf or best fiancé award def goes to him. (grab off from fb)
We combed the whole Platinum mall, 7 floors of it, all inner and outer lanes! Zoom in to the map and you can imagine how HUGEEEEE this mall is to have 2 sets of escalators.. He was jokingly saying each outer round could be a round in the stadium (but I think it's really further than that) 🙊
In short, we had 10hrs of walking through the diff malls and streets and he didn't complain nor show any reluctance to continue on 😍
Thanks bubs. My legs were screaming throughout from platinum too. But you're definitely the sacrifical one in this. YOU'RE THE BEST! ❤️ But wait, Chatuchak is next 🤪🤪🤪 #riplegs#day3inbkk#kangohsteph#whackkkk
I swear @marcin_gicgier was trying to kill me.. warm-up not recorded but was
*leg extention - 3×30.. most I've ever done. 😓
Followed up with leg curls,
Lunge sleigh push (cnt mind the weight of any) as was in survival mode at that point🤣
Onto the deadlift squat on steps
Followed by leg press,
Finishing with those feckn frog leaps- 8kg kettlebells. 🖕thanks for that one btw.
Stretches to post next. ✌
Just like last time, I trained legs the day before the surgery. The left knee is doin pretty well these days so I didn't wanna jinx it and do anything different for the right!
As weird as it may sound, I often find myself visualizing my future 550lb squat. Idk why that number, probably just because it's nice and cleeean sounding (and it's a bit over my current best), but that thing is vivid in my mind.
It literally gives me goosebumps when I think about it. It will honestly feel 10x better than my acceptance to PT school, graduating undergrad, awards, and all that other stuff that is based on what other people think. The weights in the gym are the weights in the gym. Managing to conquer those after 2 knee surgeries back to back, to me, will be the most valuable sense of achievement I've ever had. Tomorrow we take a couple steps back and then it's just forward from there.
