Piuttosto soddisfatta del risultato e di aver portato a casa questa tappa bellissima! Gara dura, fisica e molto tecnica, in una giornata di sole tutt’altro che primaverile e organizzata in una location spettacolare!

Time to give credit where credit is due. @polaraus have the best customer service I have ever seen from any business I have ever dealt with. Did I say that strongly enough? I’ve had a polar watch in way shape of form for over 12 years, during that time I’ve had issues, watches and HR sensors have been sent back for repair, every time it is repaired the same day as receiving it and sent back express post, never any hassle or questions about what did I do to it, just fixed and returned, I recently sent this watch back for repair and as usual it was fixed and returned immediately however in transit it got damaged so Polar organised a courier to come and pick it up so they could repair it again, the courier failed them and didn’t turn up but Polar jumped on the front foot and have offered another solution and apology straight away. (Even not their fault). This is what I am most impressed with, their quick response and a resolution. If you are in the market for a GPS or Heart rate watch please support Polar because outstanding customer service needs to be rewarded. #happycustomer .

It's still sunny here and I love everyone's energy. My training w/end went really well and I'm preparing my first fitness event. Stay tuned, I'll share more this week!📣📣
And going back to mindfulness and living in the moment...that's what exercise does to me, exercise (the form & pace that suits you) is one of the best mindful experiences. So if you're not good with meditation, go for a run!! Do HIIT, go for a swim!

Turned out to be a great weekend, the kids did so great @seaotterclassic, so proud of both of them. Hanna completed the enduro race Thursday in the 13-18 category and then stopped the DH on Saturday for a second place finish in a stacked field of junior girls. Kanoa raced his first major DH race in a field of 42 kids, finished in 32nd. Overall a super fun event.
What an amazing weekend! So proud of @guyshepherd, Team @sheltercharity & all the runners on the hottest VLM ever. Being a supporter this year wasn’t the plan but it was also an incredible opportunity to experience it again from the other side of the fence & cheer everyone on. I’m so hoping my shins heal & I can dance my way through those 26.2 miles again next year. But I loved my adventure of cycling the 230 miles up there. It’s amazing what the body can do, not if you push, fight or hurt your body, but if you have fun, embrace the adventure & trust that you can do great things in an easygoing & healthy way. Now for some yoga 😍

Yoga is a powerful tool in any athletes kit which helps them to greater strength, flexibility and focus. Cyclists need to focus on leg strength, which many poses in yoga target, but they also need to focus on flexibility and lower back strength. Cyclists spend most of their time bent forward over the handlebars, which leads to tight hip flexors. Many yoga poses target the hip flexors and lower back, helping to balance muscle strength and prevent injury.
Very happy to manage 3rd in expert women and beat my time from last year at the Golden Triangle Epic 50km, disappointed my back decided it was done at the 40km mark making for a very painful final 10km 📷 @ogaram
