When traveling I like to catch lovely moments.
On the way to michelin restaurant, spotting a small quality time between a grandma and granddaughter. The little girl smiled even wider before I’ve taken this photo.
No matter how hard the life is, we can’t forget how to smile. Keep that in mind.
Two weeks ago I got cleared to start moderately working out again, and I completely forgot to take before photos and measurements 🤦🏻♀️ The past two weeks I have been doing a workout program to get me prepared for an 80 day work out program that I have been patiently waiting to do since the car accident.
I am planning on doing this prep program for six more weeks and I told myself I HAD to take measurements and pictures 🤓
If you know me even just a little bit, you know that I’m not very patient person (as Andrew says right now sarcastically “ya your not...”) but I am proud of the recovery my body has done thus far so I will continue to be patient with myself in this phase of my life.
Am I at the size and shape I want to be... no.
Am I at the size where I know my body is at its best... no.
But do I love my body anyway... F*CK YES! This body is mine and I have put it through so much with sports, and it was confined to a wheel chair just a few months ago.
Do yourself a favor and appreciate the body that gets you to different places every day and I just automatically knows how to heal itself 💕💕💕 #happysunday#changeinperspective#loveyourbody#bepatient#grateful#amazedeveryday#bekind#selflovesoldier#ontheroadtorecovery#beforephotos#remembertosmile
Feeling a little emotional as i think about the last 5 months and some of the challenges I’ve come across, as so much has changed with my health and what I am able to do. But I will remain thankful for everyday and grateful for the things I AM able to do... and I will do them to the best of my ability.
Someone reminded me today “smile, it helps with the healing process”
