There are a lot of resources to help you use more safely, cut down, or stop. Meth and sex can be a complicated combination. We can help you find your way to your best life. DM us or text/call 347-534-8424.
When working with clients I will often combine multiple modalities to assist in restoring their soft tissue to a more harmonious state which allows them to continue training or doing the activities they enjoy doing. I’ve recently been incorporating Asian cupping as well as Gua Sha.
The philosophy behind cupping:
“Where there’s stagnation, there will be pain. Remove the stagnation, and you remove the pain.” Cupping is the term applied to a technique that uses small cups as suction devices that are placed on the skin to disperse and break up stagnation and congestion by drawing congested blood or energy to the surface.
Gua Sha involves stimulation or “scraping” of the skin using a round-edged instrument. Oil is generally applied to the skin prior to the treatment which results in the appearance of small red petechiae called “sha”. The sha generally dissipates within three days to one week.
The purpose of raising sha to the skin surface is to remove blood and Qi stagnation which is considered pathogenic. The process promotes normal circulation and metabolic processes of the body. Gua Sha can provide immediate pain relief from conditions such as muscle stiffness, fever, chills, cough, nausea and other symptoms.
Its amazing when u call your mom because you're concerned about her and end up getting a soul searching, therapy session from her on your own grief, health, depression. So thankful for my mom for understanding my pain and anger that no one else understand. Talking to me this morning, digging in a spot that I keep tucked away. It's hard being strong all the time, hiding any type of emotion for something or someone so complex. When everyone is telling u how to feel but they have no clue on the truth or how it feels to lose the father of your child. U see him every time you look at her. The way she laughs, smile, get mad... when u just want to pick up the phone and say "man, guess what, your daughter had her senior trip meeting today, my dude, did we have a senior trip at Heritage??" Or that "she is taking French next year!" Or simply say.. "I forgive you" The Hope of finally co-parenting, sharing graduations, sharing college achievements, sharing grandchildren, is 4ever gone. Today is a hard day, life is not guaranteed... #tbt#recovery#ripkente2017#kb1#fight#depression#motherslove#forgiveness#loveeachother

Day 2/100 ° Ablution °
☯ Washing at dawn: Rinse away dreams. ☯
I have to say I struggled with this one. Firstly I've never heard the word 'ablution' before. And secondly it was a mind-melt processing this sentence...
. '...all life is a dream, not because it isn't there, but because we all project different meanings upon it...'.
So I painted a jellyfish. Because jellyfish are light, floaty, transparent, strange and I've never painted one before. Jellyfish also don't have a spine...Lucky sods.

Double Chocolate Protein Oats! Packed with nutrition and actually quite tasty all at the same time. I sometimes make this with steel cut oats or lately, buckwheat oats. This is also an awesome recipe for any of you nursing mama’s or grrrreat fuel for those hard workouts and when you need a breakfast to keep you full. Hits the spot! 👌🏻 Enjoy.
1 cup gf oats or buckwheat, cooked
Almond milk, unsweetened vanilla or coconut milk
1 scoop of protein powder, chocolate (I use @sfh)
1-2 tbs cacao nibs, @sunfood
Granola, sprinkled over @purely_elizabeth
Anything else you want!
1. Place your cooked oats in a bowl. (I like to soak my oats over night - this is optional). 2. Pour in your almond milk and protein powder; mix until well incorporated.
3. Next sprinkle your cacao nibs and granola over.
4. Serve with a sliced banana. Can also add in anything else you fancy. Enjoy!
You can add in anything else you like. Example: nut butter, coconut flakes, chia seeds, etc. Enjoy!
First real sick day that I couldn’t comatose myself with cough syrup and hot toddy’s. The want to drink has been stronger lately than in my first few days of sobriety. I am on day 35, and as my boyfriend so kindly put it, “the honeymoon phase is over” 😂 Welp. So I called my recovery center to see what I could take, since I don’t know how to function as a “normal” sick adult, and the nice pharmacist at the drug store helped me find exactly what I needed. Grateful for the kindness in the world that makes sobriety just a little bit easier. #sobriety#sober#soberaf#soberissexy#sometimes#sick#selfie#recovery#grateful#gratitude
Day 2 post op. Drinking peppermint tea 🤢 really not my cup of tea but I’m drinking it out of desperation because I feel like I’m going to explode. I’m up and about, they tell me to mobilise so I’m shuffling round the room. Feel like I’ve been here forever ! Yesterday was eventful and more new experiences as the nurses kept popping in to remove one piece of paraphernalia or other still stuck in me in different places. The packing was fun ! I can rest assured if the surgeon had left anything behind by mistake it’s not there now felt like everything was being pulled out ! a lot of breathing in and out was required 😆 the drain was quite eventful too I’d grown quite attached to it carrying it round like a handbag and I thought red was quite my colour 👜 so here I am quite literally waiting for an expulsion of gas of some sorts .... either end will do. 🤣 #hysterectomy
