I make my crust from scratch with whole wheat flour and pile on fresh veggies🍅🍆🌶.
You can even sub the cheese for vegan nut cheese or opt for part skim milk mozzarella. Add in some fresh oregano and viola!

Time is one of the biggest obstacles when it comes to committing to a real food diet, but I promise you eating real food doesn’t take as long as you might think. Sure it takes more of a commitment than pulling a frozen meal out of the freezer and microwaving it, but the pay off is more than worth it. Instead of focusing on how difficult it is, I recommend focusing on what you get out of it.
I changed my food + lifestyle years ago in the hopes that it would help heal my skin, which it did....but I got so much more out of it than I ever expected....no more migraines, anxiety is way less severe, I have energy all day without the need for caffeine, a new careeer, and a community that I’m proud to be a part of❤️ Food is healing! So meal preppin’ on Sundays or cooking breakfast before work is hardly a burden, considering all I’ve gained from sticking to this lifestyle. Change what you focus on and it can change your life✨

So I heard it’s #nationalpretzelday ; verdict from my small poll- my @simplemills pancake creation looks NOTHING like a pretzel!! HOWEVER, it tastes sooo good that I thought I would share because maybe one person will see the pretzel 🥨 resemblance?!? I used @simplemills pancake mix, added in some chocolate chips, poured into a pretzel cookie pan tray and baked at 375 for about 13 mins- (or until your skewer comes out clean when inserted into the middle!) •Chop an apple into cubes•Sprinkle some cinnamon and sweetener of your choice (I used maple syrup)•🍏🍯
•Microwave for 3 minutes•You can have this as is, but I went the extra mile😏and put it in the oven for 10 minutes•⏱
•Top with granola and the nut butter of your preference•No granola? No worries! Combine oats, the nut butter, chia seeds, chocolate and whatever else you’d like and roast the apples with the crumble•🌰🍫

My new favorite recipe that has been fueling me through this week! @balancewithb Cauliflower Bites 😛 So easy to make👇🏼
2 c riced cauliflower
1 scoop pea protein
3 tbsp nutritional yeast (I left out, but add for some cheese flavor)
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp curry powder (or cajun spice)
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper
1/4 c cilantro
1/2 c almond flour
1/2 c ground @simplemills crackers (or breadcrumbs)
1 flax egg (1 tbsp flax + 3 tbsp water, let sit for 10 mins)
Combine ingredients, roll into golfball size bites. Bake @ 400 for 20 mins, flip, bake for additional 20 mins until browned.
I paired them with roasted sweet potato fries and drizzled tahini!

Made my favorite summer meal for lunch today bc it’s starting to feel like summer ☀️ I forgot how much I loved this dish and how easy it is to make! And it’s full of 💯 real, fresh ingredients, cheap to make & very versatile ✨✨ FYI: homemade sauces and marinades are MUCH better to use than store bought bc they taste much more fresh & better for you (no hidden ingredients) 🌿🌟
Made honey glazed wild caught salmon- broiled for 16 min w/ avo oil, toasted sesame oil, manuka honey 🍯, coconut amimoes, ginger, curry, s + p, lemon & minced garlic. Then I transferred it to a hot pan leaving each side on for a few minutes. Added to a bed of zoodles and cherry tomatoes sautéed in avo oil, a lemon wedge 🍋 and red pepper flakes, plus my v delicious CASHEW BASIL PESTO 🌱🌱 To make: 1/4 cup olive oil, 1 cup basil, 1/2 cup spinach 1/2 cup raw cashews, 1/2 lemon, 1 clove garlic, s + p, 1 tbsp Parmesan (for vegan: take out parm). Enjoyyy sweet babes!! ❤️

Love a hearty breakfast—or craving brinner? Our nut- and dairy-free pesto can turn any dish into something magical. Case in point: Pesto Egg Skillet!
// What you'll need:
1 teaspoon coconut oil
½ organic yellow onion, diced
4-5 organic baby potatoes, sliced thin
2 cups organic curly kale, roughly chopped
4 organic eggs
Mineral salt & black pepper
Plenty of Fresh Thymes Pesto Sauce
Heat 1 teaspoon coconut in a cast iron skillet over medium heat. When the oil glistens, add the diced onion and potatoes, stirring occasionally. Sauté until onions are transparent and potatoes are softened through, about 7 minutes. Add kale to skillet, and cook for about 1 minute or until the kale just starts to soften. Crack 3 eggs into skillet and place lid over pan, turning heat down to medium-low. Continue to cook, covered, until the egg whites are set (if you prefer hard yolks, cook an extra minute or two). Remove from heat. Season with salt & pepper according to your tastes, and spoon our dairy- and nut-free pesto sauce over the eggs. Eggs with kale, sweet potatoes with CocoAlmond Melt Sauce, bacon, blueberries, and a good companion 🐾•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••✨CocoAlmond Melt Sauce Recipe✨ Combine 1 tbsp almond butter with 1-2 tsp coconut oil in small bowl. Place in microwave for 30 sec or less. Stir and get your drizzle on. I love it on pancakes in sub for syrup, on ice cream for extra nutty creaminess, and of course these sweet potato cubes! 🤤

if you're looking to satisfy that decedent, chocolatey craving full-force without going overboard, this could be your solution. they're individually packaged for portion control and they use all-natural dates for their sweetness! it's lower in refined carbohydrate because of it's chickpea base but its got all the chocolatey goodness it needs!⠀
it's not for my AIP, paleo friends because of that chickpea base. for me and my celiac tummy, i wouldn't have it often, but i was able to get away with this taste and my oh my was it good! ⠀
it is gluten-free, vegan and absolutely free of refined sugar!!! a great solution for many! ⠀
