This is our little bee mascot finding her way onto our happy reading sticker 😀 happy Wednesday, everyone! Even if you have the busiest of bee days (yes, I just wrote that), take 10 minutes to relax and read something you love #spreadtheliterarylove
Amari @amaritru215_718 says to all you lil readers out there who doesn’t want to be on Instagram where the executive producers (aka Daddy) is all up in the videos, all in the camera, “filming” come to Death Row 🤣😂🤣😂 jk jk jk Anyway here’s (video 4 of 5) One Mo video to go. I’ll post the finale tomorrow around noon time. Stay tuned my friends. Our main objective is to make learning fun. Even when he briefly loses focus, we patiently bring him back and redirect him. Getting a child to concentrate is easy when he’s amuse and enjoys what’s being taught. I love how my boy demonstrates that he knows the words, even trying to sound out every syllables. Every lil effort counts. Repetition is key, patience is key. #reading#readingtime#repeat#flashcards#patience#enjoyment#qualitytime#learning#teach#play#laugh#smile#happy#fun#videooftheday#view#videoofthenight#foe#animals#like#phonics Last but not least special shoutouts to Ma @teemonique215 on camera catching every adorable moment 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙏🏿👍🏿 Priceless footage. 📷 🎥 😉
Last day of the honeymoon, which I have gladly spent reading lots of new books (this is the third one, and it’s brilliant!). For a long time I didn’t think I was much of a reader, until I realised that what I love to read are real stories, from the perspective of the person who lived them. I’ve read lots of autobiographies, many of them by musicians (because that’s just the sort of music-head I am), and I devour them. This holiday, I also read the story of Ray Kroc, the founder of McDonalds, which was actually pretty brilliant, and I finished it in a day and a half. I have lots of books on my list to read, and would love to read at home more often as the structure of my business changes again. But if you’ve read any good autobiographies lately (or ever) please share. It can be a task to find the really brilliant ones!
New blog out tomorrow - last in the spring clean series which is why I’ve done it all about ourselves! It’s nearly the end of April so now is the perfect time to give yourself a miniature makeover (or indulge in a massive pamper session - yes it involves a facemask) and reflect on the past few months. Have your goals changed, are you on track and have you really given yourself some ‘me time?’ Catch it tomorrow at 7am
P.s yes this book is bloody amazing!
