On my health journey — I feel like I am still kicking butt! I am eating well, enjoying working out and feeling great in my clothes. I am ready for summer! I am still working on getting stronger and faster to keep up with those kiddos! I am super happy I found something that works for me and that I am part of a little tribe. A year ago I wouldn't have posted a picture of myself on social media without makeup. EVER. I have always wished for better skin, a smaller nose, darker & longer eyelashes. I felt like makeup was the only thing that made me sorta pretty.
The truth is, growing up with a toxic parent can sometimes put a major dent in your self-confidence, but I have always been one to say that I refuse to let my past dictate my future. And although I have overcome many of those hurdles and never used my shitty childhood as an excuse, I realized that I was still allowing one thing to hold me back. I was afraid to just be 'me'. I feared what people would think of me...if they would judge me...if they would talk about me. But do you know what that fear of accepting myself did for me? NOTHING! Nothing except hold me back from being truly happy in life. I realized that until I could accept myself for who I am and be content with that, I could never really be successful or feel truly fulfilled.
No other person-- not even my husband or children-- could fill that void for me. I had to do it.
So allow me to properly introduce myself:
Hey, I'm Niccole 🙋 .
I am woman who can't function until I've had my coffee.
I love my family with all my heart and would lay down my own life for my children.
I am impatient, cuss more than I should, and rely on my faith in God to get me through this wild thing called life.
I have stretch marks on my stomach from bringing two beautiful boys into this world and I constantly struggle between eating healthy and gorging on a greasy cheeseburger and a good beer (Extra Red by Ritual is my current fave).
And last, but certainly not least, I am proud of who I am!
So I end this post with a challenge for you. I challenge you to expose your "flaws" and accept them. Because our differences are beautiful. Our flaws make us human. And all those things combined make you, you. And there isn't a single other person in this world exactly the same as you-- which is an amazing thing! 💋💜 .
An attitude of gratitude means making it a habit to express thankfulness and appreciation in all parts of your life, on a regular basis, for both the big and small things alike. #affirmations#selfempowerment

If you just keep moving forward, little steps, small changes at a time and DON'T QUIT, you WILL see changes!
You WILL reach those goals!
It takes time, effort, it's not easy, that's why you have to fight for it!
You can do this.
