There has been so much going on around the farm, these three black beauties have not had the attention they deserve. It's easy to forget about them because they really are so easy to manage & look after themselves. Aside from feeding & watering them, they neither want nor care for extra attention & are quite content snuffling around in the dirt with minimal interference! Thank heavens for pigs! Mummy Emily had her gorgeous ‘pedigree’ Gloucestershire Old Spot piglets over the weekend - this is fantastic news as the breed is currently classed as 'At Risk' by the #RBST 😮😍

The @rbstrarebreeds has done a great job of promoting and monitoring our native livestock breeds and the latest Watchlist is out today - I would love to have loads of these breeds but chose the Wensleydale as it’s an indigenous Dales sheep.
