The man who will be remembered by future generations in #China - and not only there !
With great sadness it is to be announced that on this sacred #Friday our beloved Maulana #Muhammad Osman Chou Sahib (also known affectionately as Ceenni Sahib)
has passed away today in London, اناللهِ وَانا اِاليهِ راجعون

Cheeni Sahib, came from a line of #Chinese#Muslims in #Shanghai .
In an attempt to gain a deeper education in Islam, he met Chaudhry Muhammad Zafrulla Khan in the #Pakistan Embassy in China and, through his sponsorship, went with five other Chinese Muslims to #Rabwah in Pakistan for formal training at the Jami’ah (Missionary Training Institute). Since then he has written and translated several books on Islam for the Chinese people, including the Holy #Quran . He has served with distinction as one of the most respected Ahmadi Muslim missionaries in Pakistan, South East Asia and the UK.
In my personal encounters with him I remember him as one of the kindest, softest and most affectionate persons I ever met. ❤😢 May Allah enable us to follow in the the footsteps of such beautiful personalities. Ameen.
