Did you know we are offering a drop in by donation community clinic every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday up until June 14th? If you’re curious about acupuncture, here are a few words from graduate @sashaormistonacupuncture ✨ “When people hear needles they often quickly think to the needles that are used in medical clinics and offices, but the needles we use as acupuncturists are very different. On average, an acupuncture needle is about as wide as a dogs whisker and virtually painless upon initial insertion in the body. They are stainless steel and single use only.
We utilize the needles to stimulate specific acupuncture points (acupoints) on the body. These acupoints will have different functions not only affecting the local area around the needle but different areas and systems of the body. We select a prescription of points specific to your diagnosis and repeat and change some points depending on how your pattern changes in follow up treatments.” Thanks for the great information, Sasha!✨💛📷: @sashaormistonacupuncture
Tracing over tissue paper 🌸
An easy set up idea for a great fine motor skills activity.
Just the other day Sian @teach.investigate.play posted the most gorgeous colourful tissue paper activity and it just reminded me of the time we traced over the flowers and insects on a piece of tissue paper grandma sent 😍
