💥Excellent Ladder pattern to improve footwork, and braking patterns. It is considered a four-count drill, meaning two feet in the ladder, two feet out as you move forward.-
1️⃣Start face on to the ladder.
2️⃣Good posture and body position. Core tight. Aiming to be on the balls of your feet (part right under your toes), knees slightly bent, glutes turned on. Arms bent at about 90 degrees.
3️⃣The two feet outside the ladder move into and out of the boxes as you move forward as fast as you can.
4️⃣Try to move the arms and coordinate them with the feet as best as possible.
🗣REMEMBER- the Agility ladder won’t make you faster, though, it can improve coordination and help teach concepts of change of direction.-
🧠The agility ladder is a tool for a warm-up, direction change, and multiplanar movement.-
🤙🏼The ladder can help your coordination, footwork, single leg strength, ankle and knee proprioception, but is not a cure-all or a magic drill.-
