WHAT A JOURNEY..
I took the second photo some time during freshman year of college. I didn’t know many people, I didn’t know of many places to go to, and I didn’t know what to do with all my free time in between classes. All I did back then was eat, sleep and workout. For hours. Sometimes twice a day, just to keep me busy.
The first photo was taken a week after I graduated college. I had been single-handedly building my own Online Training business for about two months at this time, which officially launches in just two days. I spent countless hours of trial and error figuring out the right design, prices, content creation, and so many behind the scenes details. During that two month window, I had a crazy idea..
I created the logo from scratch, from an idea that popped into my head during class. I taught myself to use expensive designing programs that I thought I would never understand. I spent money I didn’t really have to get a prototype created, so I could iron out all the kinks and make it perfect, so that one day I could sell them and help spread my passion for fitness.
I took the doodle I had on paper and turned it into a physical object I can touch, hold and wear. So I wanted to model it. And I wanted a backdrop with meaning. From nothing to something. This place will always be special to me.

📝Psicóloga Gabriela Pacheco Lopes 📷 @psicologiatarjapreta #voce#vocepode#força#conhecimento#consciencia#fortalecimento#emocional#self#mundo#pessoas
It’s really easy to post about #yoga when it was itself easy. Today yoga wasn’t so easy. My body didn’t want to do the things and poses. But that’s ok. It is what it is. No. One. Failed. Thank you @debmetal

May is #MentalHealthAwareness Month 🙌🏽💚
Remember health is not just about what you're eating. It's also about what you're thinking.
On a personal level, it’s checking in with ourselves and those around us and not being afraid to seek the help we need.
People are more likely to seek help if someone close recommends it or even offers to attend. Be that friend.
Most people are going through things we know nothing about. They're the ones who smile but are deeply suffering inside. The ones who look as if they have everything going for them but never feel enough. The ones who seem "fine" but face battles alone. The ones you never assumed were hurting but are ready to give up.
If there's one thing I've learned through this mental health journey, it's that we need to step outside of ourselves long enough to take a genuine interest in others or we will never know that we could be part of the solution- even if that's being that one person who cared enough to see you.
A lot of people are afraid to go in deep waters with hurting friends. But you dont need to have an answer, simply showing up says everything ❤️
