My breastfeeding journey started 11 weeks ago when I gave birth to my little Bear Cub 🐻 During pregnancy I knew I had wanted to breastfeed my baby and After giving birth I was encouraged to feed straight away. Bear was having non of it and it seemed like a constant battle at trying to get him to latch on, I had just thought it was going to be put baby to boob and that’s it, but No! For days I would sit squeezing as much colostrum I could to satisfy baby, my milk took almost 5 days to come in, I believe this was down to having a C-Section. Just when I felt like giving up a lactation consultant visited me in hospital and between us we got the latch. And it was a feeling like no other , the knowledge that I was feeding my baby and solely sustaining this beautiful new life , I knew then I had made the right decision to breastfeed my baby 🤱🏼 #breastfeeding#breastfeedingmama#newmum#mumlife#breastfeed#breastfeedfriendly#breastfeedingawareness#normalizebreastfeeding#breastfeedbaby#proud#proudmum
Cameron had only been in high school for 5wks when his Dad died suddenly. Now, he graduates from 6th year with a bright future ahead of him, off to study Chemistry at Heriot Watt University.
I am so, so proud of the young man he has become. ❤ A quiet lad of few words, unless you get him started on science or politics. He has never once brought trouble to my door. He works hard and knows exactly what he wants out of life.
Well done son xx
A few weeks ago, Thomas became the youngest person to ever complete the Hegarty Maths programme. The creator of Hegarty Maths, Colin Hegarty himself, contacted Thomas to congratulate him and told him he could choose a book as a prize. Thomas chose "Closing the Gap" and it arrived today, with a lively, hand written note inside from Colin. So proud of you Tom x x x .
