Good Thursday everyone! 😄
I hope you are all looking forward to the weekend and have had an awesome weel so far 😉👍 this morning I was in the mood for a fasted training session (mainly because I felt like having a huge breakfast afterwards 🤣) so I left for the gym to get my crossfit training session done in a fasted state 😁 keeping up the good habit of a restructered crossfit session; today I wanted to focus on my upper body strength and power output, seeing as I was fasting it seemed smarter than an all out metcon session 😂 it went pretty well so I'll give you the rundown here:
1. 22min AMRAP
10 kb push press
10 kb swings
10 box jumps
Managed a nice 20rounds! That's 200 reps of each exercise 😆
2. MetCon For Time
60 alt dumbbell clean and press 
50 push ups
40 alt dumbbell snatches
30 pike push ups
20 alt dumbbell hang cleans
10 negative handstand push ups
3. Power rounds!
- 2rounds
10 power cleans (40kg)
10 dips
10 burpees
Repeat for 2 new rounds with 20kg
4. Strict press strength
1-1-1-1-1reps at 25kg strict press
5. Gymnastics round
5 rounds of max deadhang pull ups
6. Accesory work 6r EMOM
10 kb rows
10 push ups
Remaining time handstand
Finished the while session with some ab work and shoulder prehab to cool down before heading back and satisfy my ravenous hunger 😆😅
Nothing a large brunch can't help with! Protein oats with apple, protein mousse with berries, frozen fruit, rice cake with toppings, more fruit on the side and loads of tea and creatine 😁👌 safe to say I was full and satisfied after that meal 😆 which put me in an excellent study mood of course! I always study best when I have trained first, I find it makes my mind a lot clearer 🤔 anyone else got that? Exam coming up saturday but I'm not too worried, cheers everyone!

This is just a very basic version but you could always top them with fresh fruit, peanut butter, cacao powder and you would really have yourself a feast! 🍌🍓🍇 I’m a simple gal so just vanilla protein and cinnamon do me! 🤤💯

I promise there are oats under all of those bananas!! 😛🍌 I threw together a very simple vanilla protein overnight oats last night and added the chopped banana this morning!! •1/2 cup oats •3/4 cup almond milk •1/2 scoop @22daysnutrition vanilla protein powder •1/2 tsp each cinnamon and vanilla extract ~Place all ingredients in mason jar and shake until combined. Refrigerate overnight. Add banana or your favorite toppings!

Which is the healthiest kind of oat?
There are 4 types:
💚1.Steel Cut Oats. These are the least processed oats. Steel cut oats come from the oat kernel, and have simply been chopped into large pieces. Takes 20 mins to cook.
▫️
💚2.Rolled Oats. These are the second least processed oats. Basically, the whole oat grains are taken and steamed, and then rolled out into flakes. Takes 10 mins to cook.
▫️
💚3.Quick Cooking Oats. Quick cooking rolled oats are the same as regular rolled oats, except they have been steamed for longer, and tend to be in slightly smaller pieces. Takes 5 mins to cook.

❌4.Instant Oats. These are the most highly processed oats. Most of the fiber, minerals and nutrients (that I wrote about in a previous post) have been removed during processing.

So which one should you eat?
🌾
Obviously the less processing something goes through, the more nutrients it has. I personally like quick rolled oats because they only take 5 minutes to cook and they’re still very nutrient dense.

DO NOT buy instant oats. The processing they go through removes the majority of the goodness (fiber and nutrients).

Køleskabsgrød er altid min morgenmad de dage jeg er på farten. Det tager lige 2 min at smække det hele sammen om aftenen, og smager så meget bedre end kedelige havregryn 😄

Jeg bruger 50-60g havregryn med 10-15g chiafrø og 10g vaniljeprotein. Det hele blandes med 2,5 dl mælk og sættes i køleskabet natten over. Normalt topper jeg det med almond butter og tilsætter evt nogle friske bær 🌟

Which is the healthiest kind of oat?
There are 4 types:
💚1.Steel Cut Oats. These are the least processed oats. Steel cut oats come from the oat kernel, and have simply been chopped into large pieces. Takes 20 mins to cook.

💚2.Rolled Oats. These are the second least processed oats. Basically, the whole oat grains are taken and steamed, and then rolled out into flakes. Takes 10 mins to cook.
▫️
💚3.Quick Cooking Oats. Quick cooking rolled oats are the same as regular rolled oats, except they have been steamed for longer, and tend to be in slightly smaller pieces. Takes 5 mins to cook.

❌4.Instant Oats. These are the most highly processed oats. Most of the fiber, minerals and nutrients (that I wrote about in a previous post) have been removed during processing.

So which one should you eat?

Obviously the less processing something goes through, the more nutrients it has. I personally like quick rolled oats because they only take 5 minutes to cook and they’re still very nutrient dense.

DO NOT buy instant oats. The processing they go through removes the majority of the goodness (fiber and nutrients).

Post workout raining morning M1 deets: Stove top blueberry pie oatmeal ~
•boil 1 cup of water in a pan on the stove
•add in 1/2 cup of Oats, lil bit of chia + flax, cinnamon and STIR
•when it begins to thicken add 1/2 cup egg whites #protein and stir (you can’t even taste them and boy do they make the oats so fluffy and MORE filling)
•on another pan on the stove heat on medium with coconut oil, then add blueberries, banana and some vanilla extract. Heat up until oats are done! The bananas will caramelize and the blubs will create a warm sauce 😍
•Top oats with the masterpiece sauce and some PB (duh)
•Process takes about 10ish minutes! Enjoy the taste and smell 🍽💙

Working from home today so I’ve only just had this bowl of Oats as I ate late last night and Im doing intermittent fasting, I wasn’t allowed to eat until 1pm 😂 anyway a change up from my usual shake, need the carbs for my heavy leg session I’m doing later!
Chocolate sugar craving now sorted for the day and I’m fuelled and happy 😊 
Not restricting myself but I am cutting calories and staying on track, that’s why today I’m having 2 squares of 78% Dark choc, all in moderation 💪

I always start my day with a bowl of oats because porridge is life 😍

This morning I have a big bowl of vanilla proats made with 40g of oats, 20g @phdnutritionuk Vanilla protein, 5g of chia seed and 5g of @the_goodguru seeds 🥜 
I then topped my oats with some banana, blueberries and crushed almonds as well as my trusty @sweetfreedomuk fruit syrup - honestly if you have not tried it yet you really should! 
I hope you all have a lovely day - I am off for a run during my lunch hour and then I’m doing BBSSU upper A this evening 💪
