Eat the weeds! Poke Weed harvested under eighteen inches when it is young and tender. Picture sequence is from start to finish, left to right, top to bottom. From raw leaf and stalk to seperation of both. Properly double boiled with cooking pot washing in between. Final step is vacuum bag, with labeling, for freezing prepped leaves in fresh and perfect status. Stalks were boiled, peeled, and prepped with a brine. A fresh pickling was then created, added to the brine, heated to boil and poured into prepared canning jars for a future pickled Poke delight. This project is almost zero waste and all the benefits of this delicous plant are harnessed for my health and happiness. Although I provided steps for the processes be sure to do your own research so you too can stay safe and healthy. ☺

How amazing does this meal from @preppeddelivery look?! It tasted even better 😋 I have been obsessed with my meal delivery services, and will have to do an over all review later on. They have been such a game changer during dedicated step studying. I don’t really enjoy cooking to begin with, so getting rid of that stressor has been awesome. 10/10 would recommend this extra expense as a trade off for feeling much less stressed during a very stressful time ——
Quick Mini Review of @preppeddelivery
I loved the meals I got from this company! This steak was UNREAL. I was so impressed with the food quality. The only downside to this service for me was the packaging. Each meal comes in a plastic bag and all the chicken components are individually sealed, which made a huge difference in the food quality. It was a little odd at first having to pack scissors in my lunch box and an empty contain to put everything in, but it was worth the minor hassle. I think the packaging just threw me off at first since I was expecting the traditional meal prep containers.
This service was also on the more expensive end, I believe partially due to all of the paleo and GF options. I am not paleo/GF so this wasn’t necessary for me. Everything still tasted great but it would have been nice to have cheaper less specialized options.
This may sound counter-intuitive to most people, but you should actually try to pay off your debts before a collapse.
You might be thinking, "But if the economy collapses won't my debt just disappear and I'll get to start with a clean slate?" People who think like this have a tendency to max out their credit cards thinking that they won't have any repercussions. However, when we look at history, you'll find that in past collapses in Argentina, Greece, and Rome, people were beholden to their debts even after SHTF.
In my blog, 5 Important Reasons to Pay Off Debt Before a Collapse, I go into the details of why being debt-free post-collapse is your best decision.
