Not sure today’s will be quite so lumpy, but need a couple more decent 🚲 rides at least, before the weekend trip to #Mallorca ! Nearly 4,000ft in just over 40 miles!
I’ve not #prepared as much as usual and my #training has been sporadic at best. Just haven’t quite found my #rhythm yet this year. Well I better find it soon.
Weather looks interesting, #sunshine but with strong ☔️ showers as well. Might just need to be a little careful on those #descents ! The main part I was looking cowed too 😕 Anyway it could be a lot worse right! So I’ll give it everything I have and hope it’s enough.

Nothing motivates me more than seeing progress in myself. For most of my life I have had a really hard time building muscle, but now as I have gotten a little older, my body has allowed me to put some on. That coupled with a now better understanding of fitness concepts and diet. I am now in the best shape of my life, eating healthier than ever before, and feeling great. And I have all the motivation I need to keep it going. If you have done the health and fitness thing in the past but fallen off, I would encourage you to give it another go. The benefits are endless! And once you you get a taste of the progress, I bet you, you will want to keep going! For most the hardest part is getting started. What's holding you back?
It's hard to find a good protein bar. Commonly they have around 24g of carbs with little protein and might be 200 Calories or more. If you can find a bar that has 10-15g of protein with less than 20g of total carbs (excluding sugar alcohols and artificial sweeteners) and it tastes good, than thats a good protein bar 👍. This bar has over 20g of Carbs but it is high fiber and I like it because it is a non dairy and non soy bar.
No Cow Bar -200 Calories ✔

- sweetener: sugar alcohol, monk fruit extract, stevia ✔
I’m not entirely sure where my adventure will take me today, but I’ve realised I’ve been a bit foolish going on my hikes and bike journeys unprepared. I’ve made it my number 1 priority to ensure I have the essentials for adventuring. #prepared#adventure#firstaidkit#torch#food
@weirdlittlebeast has shown an interest in building an #edc for herself, so I wanted to do something nice for her and buy her her first piece. Since she’s a petite (but badass) woman, I kept her in the @kershawknives family and purchased her the #spoke Speedsafe folder. REALLY cool tiny little knife. The #speedsafe feature is really nice on this; you can open and close the knife with one finger. It centers nicely, the clip is deep and sturdy, and the hinderer does a good job at enabling you to hold onto the knife. Plus it came REALLY sharp, so I don’t have to break out my sharpener....yet. Haha. Hope she loves it! Oh, and my #KershawCryo for size comparison. #edc#everydaycarry#edccouple#prepared @edcgentleman @edc_specialties
