For a truly independent project like this to work it doesn't just come down to one person. There are so many cogs in this machine that it almost seems like a miracle that we were all able to sit in the same room... correction: the same *sold out* room... together and successfully watch the film for the first time.
So thank you to everybody who came along and made the night what it was, thanks to everyone who helped in any stage of the project - but most of all, we all owe a fucking endless round of applause and respect to Zeïna Thiboult (@zyumaya) who managed both the production design and the overall production of the project. It is Zeïna's vision that brought the story and performances to life and without such imagination, drive, creativity and motivation this project would have been nothing. SO TURN UP FOR Z. YOU DID IT BABY. Stay tuned, and we'll keep you posted about our festival run.
My mind is always in 50 different places at once. I have a crapload of ideas, a f**k-ton of thoughts and a billion questions.
Like what's wrong with the world?
What's wrong with me?
Why I no doctor yet?
Who let the dogs out? How many dogs were there to begin with? Are these dogs hypoallergenic? Do they bite? Is the location from where said dogs were released from in close proximity to me?
Great questions, right?
