Oh Charlotte, what a long journey you have been on...and it is not over yet.
We thought we had finally found Charlotte her forever home but it is not working out the way we hoped.
Charlotte came to us when she was 4 months old, about a year ago. She was so terrified and shut down that she would cower and release her bowels whenever anyone touched her. Fast forward a year...Charlotte has been through 6 weeks of intensive training at the Academy of Canine Behavior, has been on three trial adoptions, has been lost twice and now is once again being returned to us.
Why, you ask? Charlotte is shy, timid and it takes time for her to build friendships. But she has come soo far and is a fabulous girl!
Charlotte is an amazing dog, smart, gets along with other dogs, likes kids and is good with people. She has skills too after all that training at the Academy! But...she is very shy at first. It takes her time to learn to trust people. She has gotten better and she warms up more quickly now, but she will never be a social butterfly.
We love this girl and after a year of waiting, trying, hoping, I really want to see her in a forever home. We will settle for a very patient foster first.
Please help Charlotte. Share her story. She is young and sweet but just needs patience and a chance at the one life she's been given.

Pure and emotional joy getting to meet one of my closest friends baby 👶🏻, life happens ( work , family etc) but she’s just a friend who I love dearly ( her entire family included) that I love being there for , her son literally brought me to tears the moment he was born, so glad this weekend I was able to meet him and hold him and help her , children are such a gift #baby#babymayson#newborn#precious#cute#adorable#lovehim
