Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantor of a better covenant. Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

Khadija ra is everything I dream of being. An amazing mother, the first woman to accept Islam, a loving wife and my favorite: a smart businesswoman.
In the time of the pagans where women were confined to their homes all through life, Khadija ra made a name for herself. She was a well known, chaste and honorable woman. The only known woman to conduct business. But how did she do it in a world belonging only to men? She found trustworthy and hardworking managers who would conduct trading on her behalf. She exported her goods to far away markets like Syria, and her managers bought goods from those markets to be sold at home.
Miffed by the prophet SAW's character she made a proposal to him through his uncle Abu Talib, something we can’t do even in modern times. We also know that she was the prophet’s SAW favorite wife. How did she manage all this in such harsh times, she never let her business interfere or affect her personal life? She has excelled in all fields.
It got me thinking, we make excuses that there’s too much work at home, or tending our children is a task altogether, barely keeping the house from falling apart. Hazrath Khadija ra, on the other hand, did everything and excelled at it no less. Who are we to make excuses? she found a solution for her business(as she couldn’t travel around she hired managers based on partnerships), she was respected by the society and more importantly; her husband and her name resonates to this day.
So what I’m trying to say is lets stop making excuses! If you love something, JUST GO DO IT!!!(Sorry Nike) Allah set has already put that element in you.Catalyse it with a little enzyme called hard-work.
Romans 8:38-39 (NASB)
“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
🙌🏾 Thank you, Lord Jesus! 🙏🏾
‘But he said to me “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness”. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me’. 2 Corinthians 12:9
•Far too often, we feel inadequate or unqualified to do the the things God has called us to do. “ I’m not good enough”, “This person would be better than me”, “I don’t have the necessary skills”…
•But let us look at some characters in the bible: Abraham was too old, Moses had a stutter, Jeremiah was too young, Rahab was a prostitute, David had an affair, Elijah was suicidal and Lazarus was dead.
Yet, God used every single one of them for His glory. •God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called !
•A lot of the time, our shortcomings deter us from following through with what God has called us to do. But these very same shortcomings provide the perfect opportunities to trust God and experience His power.
•Indeed, our human limitations make us inadequate to face challenges on our own. But there is GOOD NEWS ! God has made his abundant supply available to us. His grace is more than enough to complete any assignment He has called us to.
•I will delight in my weaknesses, for when I am weak, then I am strong.
“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

my face when something awesome happened!
an amazing organization in Rotorua NZ, my home, contacted me to say they wanted to fundraise to get me a brand new walker/wheelchair!
I was totally blown away... like who does that for a stranger!? crazy right... God is good!
then we had most of the funds come in but it started to slow down and we only had about $200 to go.
yesterday at church I was talking to a new friend and his wife and he said "hold on" and gave me $210... turns out we needed $206... I was amazed!
I mean... "who just gives that sort of money to someone they only met a few weeks earlier!? Once again... God is good!
it should be here this week and will be so beneficial. crutches have been hard on my back, arms and shoulders, esp since it's my whole left side that has numbness and partial paralysis so a walker *which is stylish not grandma lol* will ease so my strain on my body and help my in my process of learning to walk properly again!
I've learnt that even in the hard times, when you make the decision to trust God, put Him first and walk with Him, He will bless you.
I never asked for something to help me but I trusted God and He has opened a door for me to be blessed with exactly what I needed to help in my crazy life!
God is faithful, trust Him.
btw: trusting God is no easy task but one day at a time, one small thing at a time, trust Him and He will guide you and be with you and watch your faith grow.
I have a long way to go with trusting God but I'm telling you... He is faithful!
