This is a damn tricky one to photograph well, probably because of the shiny patina’d coppery dial and the poor contrast between it and the hands. Based on the serial number and case back design, I believe it’s an early cal. 138 #polerouter (not long after the switch from #polarouter designation) with original UG crystal and, I think, the original unpolished brushed finish on case sides. #universalgeneve
With another name on the dial, the following attributes would mean stupid money: 38mm, red text, micro rotor movement / slim case, big crown, and Gay Freres bracelet. Thankfully in this case, they don’t.

The best Polerouter ad ever! Attached to the wheel of an international champion of motocross, the watch resisted/survived to a 40 km long muddy trip with speed reaching up to 120 km/h 🏍💨 The marketing people at UG went crazy on that one 😂😂😂
