I haven't posted in ages as life has been extremely challenging lately. The pic here is of the apartment directly below ours.On Friday a man who was on lots of drugs had a heart attack while driving on the 15. He then rolled off an embarkment, somehow made it onto the 805, hit 3 cars, then pulled into our lot. While attempting to park, he put his car in reverse at 40mph from a dead stop and demolished the whole apartment under ours but mostly below our bedroom. That man is now in jail and luckily did not injure anyone else. @americanredcross saved us with hotel $$ as were forced to evacuate ASAP.
Yet THE WORST part about this month is this:
I found out yesterday that my stepdad--an amazing man--had a #stroke with crazy high blood pressure & has diabetes so he was admitted to the hospital. They did an MRI and a CAT scan and found he has 4th stage #braincancer . They found two HUGE masses. He's in great spirits but I'm terrified.
Also, due to #LymeDisease I have an entire body bacterial infection and antibiotics aren't helping. I see my #Lyme specialist again on the 25th.
I've moved twice in the last 30 days. Now I must move again to get my things from my parents house, yet my stepdad had his truck impounded and his license suspended until he can take a driving test and they're sure he passes as well as responds to his antiseizure meds well enough.
As of now, I am SO forever grateful to the #RedCross for issuing us a debit card so we could stay in a hotel while the damage is being repaired.
There were EMTs, ambulances, at least 15 cop cars, 5 News crews (find me on channel 10). We were ordered to evacuate seeing as any movement in our specific place could cause our entire apartment to collapse.
Mostly I'm SOO scared about my stepdad. He has been an amazing person in my life for about 15+ years, and I've been crying a ton.
So for those who I have #IG deals with... #PLEASE know that life has been insane and I am absolutely not ignoring you. I will be able to respond to all of my DMs soon as well.
