Hellooooooo! It’s me! I’m at @greener_house Winter Market (right next to @nordik.living) today selling my wares. I’ve got planters, mugs and the super popular takeaway coffee cups in 8oz and 12oz. My display is minimal but I’ve got lots of stock - so pop in, find a plant and pop it in a locally, handmade planter.
Beating the stormy Perth's weather with lots of vibrancy dose from this uplifting Basam Moroccan Rug 👆🏻, showcasing beautiful shades of aged deep crimson and ochre with Moroccan tribal pattern. 🍂 #vintagerug#autumnvibes#oneofakind
I think I finally figured it out! This should be a #sedumclavatum . Just watered with 18ml water. This is my experiment plant. I’ve placed it under a #clickandgrow#smartgarden to see if the LED light can mimic a grow light and have the light on for 16 hours a day.
In an artists mind, no project or piece is ever finished, sometimes you need to walk away for a time to be re-inspired or see it from a different perspective. Necessity as well is the mother of invention. This planter evolved through problem solving. I had to uproot all the flowers in the bottom section and move a bench indoors, I didn’t have time to replant. So I made a temporary planter so the roots didn’t die out of wood scraps that were around. This ended up sparking an idea. The wood pieces on the side didn’t flush but it left enough room for the lower piece to recess into the structure of the standing planter. Realizing this I added two more boards to secure the center area and stabilize as well as close in the middle to make it one cohesive piece. Amazing what wonderful surprises can be on the other side of a problem. #problemsolving#challenge#design#building#wood#planter#box#flowers#natural#amateur#learning#evolution#artist
